Carry Target

Choose how much to carry and withdraw only the missing amount from an open vanilla storage container.

Carry Target

Take the supplies you need instead of splitting stacks by hand. Open a vanilla chest, barrel or shulker box, click Carry…, choose an item, enter your desired total, then Preview → Take. Already carrying 19 stone and want 64? It previews the missing 45. No extra keybind or command.

Counts the 36 main-inventory/hotbar slots, excluding armor, offhand and nested containers. Exact item variants/components stay separate. Supports ordinary stackable vanilla items and standard vanilla storage screens only. Withdraws items; does not deposit excess or automatically restock in the background. Requires an empty cursor and enough spare capacity for a full temporary source stack, even if the final deficit is smaller.

Installation

Choose the separate file matching your installation:

  • Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.265+ (21.1.x), Java 21.
  • Minecraft 1.21.1, Forge 52.1.20+ (52.x), Java 21.
  • Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.28+ (47.x), Java 17; use the production SRG JAR.

Client-only: no server installation or additional mod dependency required. These files are not interchangeable. No 26.3 file is currently released. Respect server rules on client-side automation.

Experimental Alpha — bugs may remain

Use disposable worlds or backups and a private, quiet container. Transfers use normal inventory clicks, not an atomic server transaction. Hoppers, other players, plugins, lag corrections or disconnects may alter outcomes. Manual input or detected changes stop remaining steps. Cancel does not undo completed transfers. Recover a visible cursor manually; no automatic retry, rollback or speculative cursor recovery. Vanilla disconnect/overflow behavior may drop a carried stack. No guarantee against loss, duplication, interruption or every network race.

Testing

The exact NeoForge 1.21.1 JAR was tested in the genuine NeoForge 1.21.1 graphical client with disposable worlds and an unmodified vanilla 1.21.1 loopback server (one player). Verified chest 19→64, barrel eggs 3→10 with offhand 5 excluded, named diamond component matching in a shulker, insufficient stock, occupied cursor, transient-capacity refusal, Cancel stopping further steps, and changed source after preview causing refusal. Server data queries confirmed chest/barrel/shulker final counts.

The exact Forge 1.20.1, Forge 1.21.1 and NeoForge 1.20.1 JARs each passed targeted genuine graphical-client smoke in disposable singleplayer integrated-server worlds: chest 19→64, barrel eggs 3→10 with offhand excluded, named item separation in a shulker, already-met target/insufficient stock/occupied cursor refusals, and Cancel stopping partial transfers with an empty cursor. These three ports have not been multiplayer-tested; NeoForge 1.21.1 network tests do not validate them. Project gameplay screenshot is from NeoForge 1.21.1.

Core planner: 18,281 modeled plans and 62,487,654 assertions; model tests are not gameplay tests. Not tested: simultaneous players changing a container, injected lag, disconnect during a click group, arbitrary modpacks/custom containers/items, every UI scale, or all manual-input modalities. No atomicity or universal compatibility claim.
