Bons Voyage 1.20.0
- A chest at every waystone, if you want one. Set
enabled = trueunder[waystone_chests]inconfig/bons_voyage-common.tomland every newly generated ruin gets one chest beside its waystone. The loot comes from vanilla chest tables picked by region (dungeon, mineshaft and ruined portal chests on land, shipwreck chests on river beds, fortress chests in the Nether, End city chests in the End), so items that other mods add to those tables can turn up too. Each list can be edited. Off by default. - Waystones in ruins can't be broken. Survival players, machines, withers and explosions leave them alone; creative players can still break them. This works whatever Waystones' own
generatedWaystonesUnbreakablesetting says, and it covers ruins generated by earlier versions too. Turn it off withunbreakable = falsein the world'sserverconfig/bons_voyage-server.toml. - New spacing setting.
spacing_multiplierinconfig/bons_voyage-common.tomlscales the distance between all ruins: 1.5 puts them about 1.5 times as far apart, 0.75 brings them closer. Structurify and datapack settings still apply on top. - New default spacing. The defaults now match the author's own modpack, about 15 percent tighter than before (small ruins 17/8 chunks instead of 20/10, grand temples 27/14 instead of 32/16), so ruins are somewhat more common. Set
spacing_multiplier = 1.2for about the old spacing.
Spacing and chests apply to newly generated chunks. Thanks to GohTheCrow for the suggestions.
For Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.16+. Requires Waystones 14.1.21+, Balm 7.3.44+ and Lithostitched 1.4.11+ on client and server.
Tested on dedicated servers. With only the required mods: every ruin layout with the chests off and on, seven kinds of ruins generated naturally, waystone names on first use, breaking refused. In a 500-mod pack with the chests off: the same ruins in the same places as 1.19.3.
