# ◆ BondCraft Fabric v1.6.0 Update
BondCraft continues to evolve on Fabric 1.20.1.
This update introduces a new Large Boss, a new status effect, major improvements to Bond mob combat behavior, expanded system refinements, and numerous fixes across existing monsters, abilities, passives, and UI systems.
---
## ✨ Main Additions
### New Large Boss
**Dominus: Voldis**
A massive Cursed-type monster that appears in the desert.
Voldis introduces a unique set of combat abilities, including ranged attacks, area-based curse attacks, and a powerful large-scale special attack.
Like other contractable BondCraft monsters, Voldis can also become an ally after obtaining and using its Bond Certificate.
### New Status Effect
**Corruption**
A new harmful status effect has been introduced.
Targets affected by Corruption take increased final damage for its duration.
Corruption also interacts with BondCraft's existing debuff duration and Type Synergy systems.
### New Passive Ability
**Curse Dominion**
When bonded, Dominus: Voldis can support its owner and allied Bond mobs by reducing the duration of incoming debuffs.
---
## ⚔ Combat AI Improvements
Bond mob combat behavior has received several improvements.
### Automatic Defense
Bond mobs in **NORMAL** mode can now automatically detect nearby hostile mobs and engage them in combat.
Existing behavior modes remain distinct:
- **NORMAL** — Can automatically engage nearby hostile mobs
- **FOLLOW** — Prioritizes following the owner and does not automatically seek nearby enemies
- **STANDBY** — Remains in place and does not automatically engage enemies
Owner combat targeting and retaliation behavior continue to take priority over automatic defense.
### Wild Monster Behavior
Targeting and retaliation behavior has also been refined across BondCraft monsters.
Wild monsters will no longer become involved in unnecessary combat simply because another monster is nearby, while retaliation behavior is preserved where appropriate.
### Smile Robot Behavior
Wild Smile Robot variants no longer actively seek out players.
However, attacking a wild Smile Robot can still cause it to retaliate.
---
## 👁 Dominus: Voldis
Dominus: Voldis introduces several unique combat mechanics.
### Ranged Attack
Voldis fires a dedicated cursed projectile during its ranged attack animation.
The projectile uses its own visual effect and can inflict Weakness on enemies.
### Curse Cast
Voldis releases a large curse field beneath itself, spreading smoke and applying **Corruption** to enemies caught within the area.
### Void Collapse
A powerful large-scale attack that pulls nearby enemies inward before releasing a damaging shockwave.
### Large Flying Monster AI
Voldis uses specialized movement and combat behavior designed for its large flying body.
Its Wild and Bond forms share the same core combat system while maintaining appropriate owner, ally, and targeting rules.
