Turn your enemies into allies and build your own monster team.

BondCraft is a Minecraft 1.20.1 mod focused on monster recruitment, party building, exploration, and adventure.

Defeat monsters, obtain Bond Certificates, recruit former enemies as allies, and build a team of monsters with different Types, Roles, abilities, and passive effects.

Train your allies, evolve them, experiment with different party combinations, explore the world, and uncover the mysteries surrounding strange purple portals and the creatures arriving through them.

The Fabric version is the main development version of BondCraft and contains the latest systems and content.

Monster Recruitment / Bond System

Defeat eligible monsters, obtain Bond Certificates, and recruit mobs as allies.

Build an Active Party of up to three Bond mobs while keeping additional companions in Reserve.

Different monsters are useful in different situations, encouraging players to build and experiment with a larger roster of allies.

Type Synergies and monster abilities provide additional options when building your party.

Progression & Evolution

Train your Bond mobs through battle and develop them through BondCraft's progression systems.

Features include:

• Level progression

• Monster Evolution

• Fusion Evolution

• Individual Records

• Different party and combat roles

Individual Bond mobs can also maintain their own history, including Contract Date, Active Time, Kills, Downs, and Recoveries.

📖 Main Quest & Journal

The Main Quest is currently available in the Fabric version.

Follow BondCraft's story through biome-based Main Quest chapters.

The first chapter, the Plains Chapter, begins the investigation into the mysterious events occurring throughout the world.

Learn about contracts, build your first party, investigate strange traces, meet the residents of the Starting Village, and discover what lies beyond the first clues.

Quest progress can be followed through the Journal, accessible with the J key.

⚔ Dedicated Battlefields

Dedicated Battlefields are currently available in the Fabric version.

Certain powerful monsters can be challenged in isolated Battlefield arenas alongside your Active Party.

Battlefields introduce dedicated encounters while remaining separate from applicable Wild Boss encounters.

Prepare your party, enter the Battlefield, and decide which allies are best suited for the challenge ahead.

🧴 Bond Mob Support

Bond mobs use dedicated combat and recovery mechanics.

Down & Recovery

When a Bond mob reaches 0 HP, it can enter the Down state instead of simply disappearing from battle.

Dedicated recovery mechanics allow Down allies to return to the fight.

Support Items

The Fabric version includes dedicated items for maintaining your Bond mobs:

• Heal Spray

• Heal Mist

• Cleanse Spray

• Recovery Kit

These items provide options for healing, removing harmful effects, and recovering Down allies.

🏘 Starting Village & NPCs

Explore the Starting Village and meet its residents.

NPCs provide different functions throughout your adventure, including access to Nyan's Shop.

The village serves as an important location for BondCraft's systems and Main Quest progression.

🌀 Purple Portals & Portal Residues

Mysterious purple portals have begun appearing throughout the world.

They appear without warning.

Creatures emerge from them.

Then the portals disappear, leaving strange traces behind.

Explore the world and discover Portal Residues left behind by these events.

Where are these creatures coming from?

And why are they appearing here?

The Main Quest begins to explore these mysteries.

🚧 Development

The Fabric version is the main development version of BondCraft.
