🧭 BlockMemory 1.6.4 – The Presence Update
🌍 Presence Wand (New Investigation Tool)
BlockMemory now introduces the Presence Wand, a contextual investigation item designed to show player presence history within chunks.
This tool does not infer intent — it reports recorded presence only.
Features:
- Tracks player presence per chunk (dimension-aware)
- No log searching needed
Records:
- Total visits
- Time spent in chunk
- Last seen timestamp
- Clean summary line on use
- Sneak to reveal detailed visitor breakdown
- Shows up to 5 top visitors (most recently seen first)
- Displays short 8-character UUID beside name
- Click UUID to copy full UUID to clipboard
- Hover text shows full UUID
Presence data is clearly labeled:
Presence ≠ intent. AFK counts. Context only.
⚙ Performance & Safety
- TPS-safe tracking (updates once per second per player)
- Server-side only
- No database usage
- Stored using Minecraft SavedData
- Persists across relogs and server restarts
- Runtime tracking cleaned up on player logout
- Per-player chunk history capped (default: 200 chunks)
BlockMemory now separates:
Truth → Block placement & removal
Context → Player presence history
Accuracy first. Assumptions never.
