🧾 BlockMemory v1.5.0 Changelog — TNT & Suffocation Tracking Update
🆕 TNT Tracking, Suffocation Tracking & Incidents
This update improves how BlockMemory tracks destructive events and player-caused deaths, while adding better staff tooling and noise control.
💣 TNT Tracking Improvements
- TNT kill alerts restored and confirmed working
- Improved TNT tracking window (30 seconds) to account for:
- Fuse time
- TNT cannons
- Indirect triggers
- Tracks:
- Direct TNT owner
- Players who assisted in triggering the TNT (up to 2)
- Staff alerts include:
- Clear attribution
- Assist list (when applicable)
- Clickable teleport to the death location
- No SavedData schema changes
🧱 Suffocation Tracking Improvements
- Enhanced suffocation death tracking
- Identifies:
- The player who placed the trapping block
- Other players who assisted by placing nearby enclosing blocks
- Tracking window: 9 seconds
- Staff alerts show:
- Direct placer
- Assisting players (if any)
- When no player block can be identified:
- Displays UNKNOWN with a hover explanation:
- Falling blocks (gravel / sand)
- Pistons or block movement
- World-generated blocks
- Display-only enhancement (no data format changes)
📋 New /blockmemory incidents
- Added a new command to review recent incidents
- Displays:
- TNT deaths
- Suffocation deaths
- Sorted newest first
- Each entry includes:
- Victim name
- Cause of death
- Attributed player(s)
- Clickable teleport to the incident location
- Designed for staff investigation and moderation
🐮 Mob Filtering (Config-Based)
Admins can now prevent specific mobs from triggering TNT or suffocation tracking.
New server config options:
ignored_entities— explicit registry IDs (vanilla + modded)ignore_animals— ignore all passive animalsignore_villagers— ignore villagers specificallylog_ignored_entities— optional debug logging (off by default)- Ignored mobs:
- Do not trigger alerts
- Do not appear in incidents
- Remain completely silent unless debug logging is enabled

- No SavedData changes
- No refactors or redesigns
- Fully backward compatible
- Safe to update on existing worlds
