Workshop (BGC)

This project is experimental.
Its files will not synchronize
across the CurseForge network.
Experimental

The machines in Workshop, whilst useful on their own, will ultimately act as the foundation for a family of mods.

The current build is suitable for testing purposes *only*. Things will be broken, changed, removed and more.

Current content:

  • - Bellows: This machine needs someone to jump up and down on it to make it go, but it can push gravity affected entities and mobs away. Pointed at a Furnace or Blast Furnace it increases the speed of operation and the chance of by-products.

- Drying Basin: Dries whatever you put in it, very slowly.

- Scrap Bin: A chest that is limited to a stack of any one item. Any additional items are destroyed and value is added to the scrap bin's meter. On completion of the meter, a scrap bag is generated that can be opened (try it in a dispenser!) for a random reward.

- Mortar and Pestle: The Mortar and Pestle is a tool for grinding and mixing things.

- Seasoning Barrel: The Seasoning Barrel is used to change fluids by interaction with catalyst items over an extended period of time. It has an input fluid and item, and an output fluid and product. The Product can sometimes be the same as the Catalyst if it’s not used up.

- Sintering Furnace: This block, when heated by lava or other hot block one or two blocks below it, will sinter onto the input item any powders thrown/dispensed onto its top side. For example, concrete powder over iron bars will make a stronger version of concrete.

- Itemduct: Think of the old mod Hopperducts. It's kind of like a hopper without the hopper's pull capabilities, but can go in any direction

- By-product Collector: Point it at a machine and it will collect by-products whilst that machine is running. For example, point it at a furnace that is burning wood, and it will collect ash.

Use of Patchouli and JEI are strongly advised.

There is a lot more content semi-available in the mod, but none of this has been verified as working as intended if at all.
