This mod was created during ModJam Aug. 2013. Modjam is basically a 92 hour ModMaking competition. Out of 20 Single-Modder-Mods, it was rated to fifth place.
It is about a chest, that you can upgrade to how you want it to be. You can make a cobblestone generator out of it, you can make the chest suck in nearby items, or you can use the chest as a big furnace, a farm, a mob farm, an animal farm and so on. Of course, you can also make the chest bigger on the inside. There are many more upgrades, but you should discover them yourself.
There is also a backpack you can use, that can accept (mostly) the same upgrades.
Note: Older versions can be found here.
You should add more images. e.g chest interface
How do I remove upgrades from a bag? I am on 1.7.10.
Heyo, this might be self explanatory but how do you power these chests? I've tried everything, and I have no idea how to get it started. It's also asking for cables? That's not in the mod so I'm just curious how to even use these things.
Any chance of 1.15.2? I'm releasing a new mod pack soon that I'm doing a Youtube series on, and this mod would solve a few problems I'm having. It would be one of the corner stones of a very light pack.
In reply to WilxGaming:
Right now, the chances of 1.15 are quite slim. However if you or someone you know wants to update the mod to 1.15, let me know.
In reply to WilxGaming:
It's not the same, but you might want to try Traveler's Backpack: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/travelers-backpack
It's the best storage mod for 1.15.x that I've seen so far.
Hi
This mod is really good, but I'm having a problem with the backpack: it de-spawns (with all of its content) upon death...
I couldn't find anything about it so I decided to ask here
In reply to Forge_User_09294117:
When you die, and you can't recover your items in time, all items you drop de-spawn including the backpack.
You can add a Unbreakable Upgrade to the bag, so it won't despawn ever.
In reply to Aroma1997:
I do know that, I mean that the Backpack de-spawns right away, while the other items are still there

Can you open a ticket on the bugtracker including a log file?
Hi,
How do I get the furnace chest to work I've place 2 fueled energy upgrades, a capacitor upgrade, smelting upgrade inside of it. I don't know the recipe for the charging upgrade since there isn't one. What am I missing here? Do I need to supply power to it and if I do what is needed for that to happen? I don't figure things out on my own that quickly...and it shouldn't be that hard to figure out in the first place. I know about the solar upgrade, but why would I need that when an External generator would suffice?
In reply to DatrixTHLK:
I know that there's no documentation about the mod, but I don't have the time to write said documentation myself.
To get the furnace upgrade to work, you install a furnace upgrade into the chest and either supply the chest with power via cables (TE Fluxducts, IC2 cables, Mekanism cables, ...) or you put the fueled energy upgrade and a few capacitor upgrades in there. You also need to put the items you want to smelt into the chest. If you use the fueled energy upgrade, you also need to put coal or any furnace fuel into the chest for it to generate power.
Hi, I've been looking for the ticking upgrade utility for hours, but I did not find anything.
Could you tell me what it is for?

When I hold an advanced bag in my hand and do a shift+right-click I can access the upgrades GUI.
So far I haven't figured out how that works with an advanced chest. In older versions you could use the hammer but since that is gone in b85 and after trying all kinds of key combinations with and without the new chest tool I am stuck here.
I am sure I overlooked something obvious but it would be nice if you could shed some light on this.
Thank's in advance! ;-)
