WARNING! THIS MOD DEPENDS ON MY OTHER MOD, NAMELY NEW FANTASY ADDITIONS! WITHOUT IT, THERE IS NO POINT IN INSTALLING THIS FORK!
This fork was created specifically for my modpack - New Fantasy, but anyone can use it in their modpacks.
The original Better Nether mod is licensed under the MIT licence. In addition, I previously got permission from the author to use a modified version of the mod.
List of changes from the original version:
1. Removed blocks/items: nether cactus, barrel cactus, ink bush, black bush, orange mushroom, cincinnasite-diamond axe, cincinnasite-diamond pickaxe;
2. All structures that are not related to Nether City have been removed;
3. Nether City has been reworked; it is now a fully-fledged dungeon with loot, mobs and a boss (this is where my New Fantasy Additions mod comes in);
4. Cincinnasite tools now have their own enum material instead of iron;
5. All items (not blocks) are now fireproof;
6. Stalagnate models have been reworked to avoid a visual bug where they are generated transparent;
7. 3D models for vanilla mushrooms have been removed;
8. Minor bugs in recipes have been fixed;
9. Textures have been replaced with more modern ones;
Going forward, I plan to continue developing this mod by adding new content and fixing any bugs I find, but all updates and fixes will be made exclusively for the purposes of my modpack. (This means I do not accept suggestions regarding the content; you are free to use this mod as it is.)
