Ascending Fishers Core 0.5.4
Enchantment Compatibility Update
This update focuses on making Ascending Fishers gear work properly with Minecraft's normal enchantment system.
Enchantment Fixes
- Fixed later-tier Angler Bows not accepting normal bow enchantments.
- Fixed Abyssal, Sovereign, and Ascension-tier swords not accepting normal sword enchantments.
- Added full enchantment support for:
- Harvest gear
- Mechanical gear
- Arcane gear
- Energized gear
- Logic gear
- Digital gear
- Atomic gear
- Ascendant gear
- Fixed custom chestplates not being properly recognized for Thorns.
- Added the missing vanilla armor enchantment category tags across all custom armor sets.
Angler Poles
- Angler Poles are now properly recognized as fishing rods by the enchantment system.
- Angler Poles can now receive normal fishing rod enchantments such as:
- Luck of the Sea
- Lure
- Mending
- Unbreaking
- Curse of Vanishing
- Angler Poles are now properly non-stackable, like normal tools and fishing rods.
- Custom Angler Pole durability behavior is unchanged, so poles remain effectively unbreakable during normal use.
Hammers
- Added proper enchantability values to all Ascending Fishers Hammers.
- Hammers now support useful durability enchantments including:
- Unbreaking
- Mending
- Curse of Vanishing
- Hammer enchantability now scales appropriately between Wooden, Stone, Iron, Golden, Diamond, and Netherite tiers.
Weapon & Tool Tags
- Expanded vanilla weapon tags for all Ascending Fishers swords.
- Fixed compatibility with enchantments including:
- Sharpness
- Smite
- Bane of Arthropods
- Knockback
- Fire Aspect
- Looting
- Sweeping Edge
- Fixed durability and Curse of Vanishing support across custom armor, weapons, bows, poles, and hammers.
This was a full compatibility pass across Ascending Fishers equipment to make custom gear behave much more like normal Minecraft equipment when enchanting.
