What's new

Ascending Fishers Core 0.4.7

This update focuses on late-game progression fixes and boss combat polish based on player feedback.

Changes

  • Fixed the final Endless Leviathan summon incorrectly requiring specific older combat gear.

    • The summon now only checks the equipment actually relevant to fishing:

      • 25/25/25 Netherite Angler Pole
      • Master Angler Bobber
      • Endless Leviathan Lure
    • Bow, sword, and armor are no longer re-checked during the final summon.

  • Updated progression checks so Ascendant Bow and Ascendant Sword correctly count as upgraded replacements for their earlier versions.

  • Properly locked the Abyssal Crown behind defeating the normal Endless Leviathan.

    • The Eye of the Endless Depths will no longer reveal the Crown before the Leviathan is defeated.
    • Traveling directly to the Crown coordinates early can no longer bypass progression.
    • Crown progression now checks the actual Endless Leviathan defeat advancement.
  • Adjusted the Abyssal Sovereign's final phases to reduce excessive player displacement while keeping the encounter difficult.

    • Reduced orbit speed.
    • Reduced charge speed.
    • Reduced charge knockback.
    • Reduced tidal-wave knockback.
    • Reduced beam knockback.
    • Reduced Devour pull strength.
    • Reduced final bomb push.
    • Reduced last-stand whirlpool pull.
  • Updated related tooltips, progression checks, and late-game guidance.

  • Updated internal mod version metadata to 0.4.7.

Notes

No major boss damage reductions were made. The Sovereign changes are focused on making the final phases feel more controllable rather than making the fight significantly easier.

Thanks to everyone reporting late-game progression issues and balance feedback.
