# Artifacts FA Player Compat Generator
Keep Artifacts accessories aligned with FA Player's animated body on Minecraft
1.21.11 with Fabric. This client addon generates the compatibility resource pack
locally at startup using your own official FA Player 1.1 download.
The generator includes no FA Player animation expressions, models or textures.
FreshLX's original pack remains required and must stay enabled. This changes
visual alignment only; it adds no item mechanics or equipment slots.
## Requirements and setup
- Minecraft 1.21.11, Fabric Loader 0.20.1+, Java 21+.
- Artifacts 14.0.3, EMF 3.3.12 and ETF 7.2.6, with their normal dependencies.
- The unmodified **FA Player 1.1** download from [FreshLX's official project](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/fa-player-extension), installed in `resourcepacks/`.
- Keep the required Fresh Animations base pack installed as instructed upstream.
Put the generator JAR in `mods/` and start the game. It creates
`resourcepacks/Artifacts-FA-Player-Compat-generated.zip`. Enable that generated
pack **above FA Player**. Do not also enable an older accessory compatibility
pack that performs the same replacement. A dedicated server does not need this
client addon.
Only the exact supported FA Player 1.1 archive is accepted, identified by SHA256
even if renamed. Missing, edited or unsupported source archives are skipped.
The generator does not download or edit the original pack. It also preserves
unrelated files and avoids rewriting an already correct generated pack.
The current beta generates 59 accessory model wrappers. Their animation data
was compared with the previously working local fix, and real Fabric bootstrap
generation was checked in an isolated 119-mod setup. Visual confirmation of
this new loading method is still pending; this is not a claim that every
combination of animation mods or future pack versions has been tested.
**Do not upload or redistribute the generated animation ZIP.** Distribute the
generator and let each player obtain FA Player through its official project.
FreshLX's original terms continue to apply to the generated animation content.
