# Voxy Artifact Chest Loot
Find Artifacts relics in more structure loot containers while retaining their original loot.
This independent addon for **Minecraft 1.21.11 / Fabric** extends **Artifacts 14.0.3** to additional containers that generate their contents from a pending loot table. It was developed for **Voxy Enhanced**.
## Features
- Adds one artifact-roll pool when eligible containers generate their contents for the first time.
- Uses Artifacts' own item-selection table and rarity condition, respecting its configuration and item weights.
- Preserves the original container loot, functions and random-sequence settings.
- Supports chests, barrels and loot vehicles that use Minecraft's standard loot-backed inventory paths, including structures supplied by other mods.
- Keeps the 32 tables originally covered by Artifacts and its own namespace unchanged by this addon, avoiding a second injection there.
- Reopening an already filled container does not reroll its contents.
The addon adapts the container's first-fill lookup. It does not globally modify shared loot tables or recursively add artifact pools to their subtables.
## Rarity
The additional pool uses a base chance of **15%**, adjusted by Artifacts' native `artifactRarity` configuration. For example, `artifactRarity = 0.5`, as configured in Voxy Enhanced 1.0.1 Beta, produces an approximately **26.09%** chance for this added pool.
That value is a modpack configuration choice, not a setting forced by this JAR. Containers already covered by Artifacts keep their original specific pools, chances and selections. An artifact is not guaranteed in every container.
## Existing worlds and limitations
A new world is not required. The addon can apply to containers in already generated chunks if their loot table is still pending.
Containers whose loot has already been materialized are unchanged, even if the player has never opened their inventory screen. Player-placed empty chests without a loot table receive nothing. Mods with a completely separate loot-generation mechanism may require a dedicated integration.
Generating items directly with `/loot` does not exercise this addon's container-fill path. Test by opening a container whose loot table is still pending.
## Requirements and installation
- Minecraft **1.21.11**.
- Fabric Loader **0.20.1 or newer**.
- Java **21 or newer**.
- Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11.
- Artifacts **14.0.3**, together with its normal dependencies.
Close the game and place the JAR in `mods/`, keeping only one version. The addon must run on the host/server responsible for generating container loot. It is also included in the shared Voxy Enhanced client package. This beta was validated with the native container-generation path in an isolated Fabric environment; a separate dedicated-server/multiplayer session has not been independently validated.
## Validation
Native isolated tests loaded Artifacts' original selection tables and exercised actual inventory filling. With `artifactRarity = 0.5`, 500 of 2,000 fills received an artifact, within the expected statistical tolerance. Original control loot was preserved in every fill, and reopening preserved every inventory slot.
Additional checks covered native-table exclusions, loot vehicles, already filled inventories, player-placed empty chests and rarity settings. These tests do not establish compatibility with arbitrary custom container implementations or every third-party datapack.

Artifacts and its contributors retain their authorship and original license. This is an independent integration, not an official Artifacts release. The JAR contains no copied third-party classes or loot tables; it references the original tables at runtime.
