ArtiCrystals
Turn everyday Minecraft materials into beautiful artificial crystals with the Crystal Synthesizer — a new workstation inspired by laboratory tables from Minecraft Education Edition.
ArtiCrystals aims to stand out from other crystal mods through its quality and attention to detail. Each mineral has individually designed shapes and textures, a distinct sound profile, and a place in a consistent crafting system. From the silhouettes of crystal clusters to the built-in synthesis guide, the focus is on making every part feel carefully crafted.
16 distinct minerals
Discover a collection of artificial minerals:
- Ruby
- Sapphire
- Rock Crystal
- Citrine
- Rose Quartz
- Topaz
- Fluorite
- Jade
- Aquamarine
- Tourmaline
- Amber
- Opal
- Garnet
- Onyx
- Malachite
- Moonstone
Every mineral comes as a crystal item, decorative cluster, and solid storage block, with its own shapes and texture patterns.
All 16 minerals can be obtained in Survival through synthesis.
The Crystal Synthesizer
The synthesizer combines a familiar 3×3 crafting grid with an integrated guide containing all 16 synthesis recipes.
Ingredients can be placed in any arrangement. Each ingredient occupies its own slot, and every synthesis consumes one item from each required slot.
A few examples:
| Crystal | Ingredients |
|---|---|
| Ruby | Amethyst Shard + Bone + Red Dye |
| Rock Crystal | Quartz + Sugar + Glass + White Dye |
| Garnet | Redstone Dust + Iron Nugget + Clay Ball |
| Onyx | Quartz + Coal + Bone Meal |
| Malachite | Raw Copper + Bone Meal + Green Dye |
| Moonstone | Quartz + Phantom Membrane + White Dye |
Take the result normally or Shift-click to synthesize multiple crystals. Remaining ingredients return to your inventory when you close the interface, or drop nearby if your inventory is full.
Build with crystals
Use crystals to decorate laboratories, caves, gardens, magical builds, and display rooms.
- Attach clusters to floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Place clusters underwater with waterlogging support.
- Use different minerals for different light levels.
- Combine nine matching crystals into a solid block.
- Convert a storage block back into nine crystals.
- Craft a decorative cluster from four crystals and a stone block.
- Create four crystal lamps, each emitting light level 15.
The mod uses Minecraft’s standard lighting. Colored blocks do not produce colored illumination on their own.
A different voice for every mineral
All 16 minerals have their own sound profiles, built from vanilla amethyst sounds with individually adjusted pitches.
Hear the difference when placing, breaking, hitting, walking on, or landing on crystal blocks. Projectile impacts make blocks and clusters ring with their mineral’s own chime.
Onyx and garnet sound deeper, while minerals such as moonstone and fluorite have brighter, higher tones.
English and Russian sound subtitles are included.
Lenses and an enhanced spyglass
Craft three types of optical components:
- Clear Lens
- Focusing Lens
- Prismatic Lens
Use them to craft a vanilla spyglass, crystal lamps, or the Crystal Spyglass, which provides twice the zoom of a vanilla spyglass.
