Description

What if every animal was tiny, and every tiny animal could be yours?
- A pig that fits on your head. A chicken on your shoulder. A camel the size of a cat.
- One Tiny Treat makes any of them a friend for life.
- Carry them in a Pet Pouch, and they follow you through portals.
- Every species gives you its own small perk.

Tiny world

Cows, pigs, sheep, wolves, horses, camels and 28 land animals in all shrink, hitboxes included: bees are half size, cows about a fifth, camels an eighth and the Happy Ghast a sixteenth. Everything else about them is untouched.
- Spawns are vanilla: same places, same rates. Only the size changes.
- Babies stay tiny too, and never shrink below a sixteenth of normal size.
- Fish, squid and bats keep their normal size (you can switch them on in the config).
- The killer bunny stays full size and hostile.
Make a friend

Craft a Tiny Treat: 1 wheat, 1 sugar and 1 sweet berries make 4. Right-click a wild tiny animal with one and it is yours: hearts, a chime and a message.
- Only the Tiny Treat bonds. Wheat, carrots, seeds and the rest still breed animals exactly like vanilla.
- Right-click your companion with an empty hand to switch follow / sit / wander. Followers stay within about 4 blocks.
- Heal it: a Tiny Treat on a hurt companion restores 2 hearts.
- Pat it: an empty hand on a sitting companion shows hearts.
- You can have up to 24 companions at once, wherever they are.
- Wolves, cats and horses use their normal vanilla owner, so everything else you know about them still works.
- You cannot hurt your own companion by accident. Sneak while hitting to really do it. Other players and mobs can still hurt it.
Shoulder buddies

Sneak + right-click your companion with an empty hand and it hops onto you. Up to 3 at once: two on your shoulders and one on your head.
- Shoulder: chicken, rabbit, cat, ocelot, fox, parrot, frog, wolf.
- Head: bee, armadillo, axolotl, pig, sheep, cow, mooshroom, goat, panda, polar bear, sniffer.
- Follow only (too big or too wet to perch): turtle, horse, donkey, mule, llama, trader llama, camel, strider, Happy Ghast.
- Put them down by tapping sneak twice. They also hop off when you swim under water or lose more than 2 hearts in one hit.
- Fire and lava never shake them off, and they are never put down into lava or fire.
- Perched animals stay with you through death, logging out and portals.
Pet Pouch

Craft a Pet Pouch from 4 leather, 2 string and 1 Tiny Treat. Sneak + right-click your own companion with it and the animal goes into the pouch, keeping its name, variant, health and age. Right-click a block to let it out beside you.
- One animal per pouch. A full pouch has its own texture and says who is inside.
- Only the owner can pocket or release it.
- An axolotl can only come out into water.
Companions that keep up

- Portals and teleports: followers within 32 blocks come with you through dimension changes, respawns and a moment after you log in. Followers more than 16 blocks behind hop to you.
- Recall: sneak + right-click in the air with a Tiny Treat and every loaded companion that is following you teleports next to you, from any distance and any dimension. It costs no treat. Sitting and wandering companions stay where they are.
- Companions in chunks that are not loaded cannot hear the call.
A perk from every animal
Keep a companion perched on you, or following within 8 blocks (6 for the wolf), and its perk switches on. Chicken and armadillo perks need the animal perched; the cow needs it sitting. Timed perks have their own cooldown for each player.
| Animal | Perk |
|---|---|
| Chicken | Feather Fall: safe fall +3 blocks, and a slow fall after longer drops |
| Rabbit | Lucky Foot: jump higher |
| Cat | Hiss: creepers and phantoms within 8 blocks lose interest and back off |
| Ocelot | Silent Paws: you move 4% faster |
| Fox | Berry Nose: sweet berry bushes cannot hurt you |
| Parrot | Lookout: every 30 s the nearest monster within 12 blocks glows for 3 s |
| Frog | Spring Legs: jump higher and swim a little better |
| Wolf | Pack: +1 attack damage |
| Bee | Pollinate: crops within 4 blocks get a growth tick every 10 s |
| Armadillo | Shell: +1 armor |

| Pig | Snacky: every 90 s, +1 saturation when your food bar is below 18 |
| Sheep | Wool Gift: 1 wool of its own colour every 8 minutes |
| Cow | Milk Break: pat the sitting cow to clear one bad effect (5 minute cooldown) |
| Mooshroom | Mushroom Patch: 1 mushroom of its kind every 10 minutes |
| Goat | Sure Footed: safe fall +3 blocks and higher steps |
| Panda | Picnic: stand still for 5 s to get Regeneration I |
| Polar bear | Cold Paws: freezing cannot hurt you |
| Sniffer | Dig Up: every 8 minutes, a torchflower seed or pitcher pod |
| Horse | Gallop: a little faster |
| Donkey | Sturdy: +1 heart of maximum health |
| Mule | Steady Hooves: soul sand and similar blocks slow you less |
| Llama | Thick Wool: 30% less knockback |
| Trader llama | Haggler: +0.5 luck |
| Camel | Desert Walker: slowing blocks hurt less, and you run 10% faster |
| Strider | Warm Blood: Fire Resistance for 5 s when you catch fire (1 minute cooldown) |
| Happy Ghast | Air Cushion: gravity pulls 10% less |
The perks are small on purpose. A Tiny Companion is a friend first and a buff second.

FAQ
Does it change how animals spawn?
No. Spawn places, rates and groups are vanilla; the animals are only smaller.
Does it change breeding?
No. Breeding food works as in vanilla. Only the Tiny Treat bonds an animal. If you want food to bond too, set bond.treat_only to false.
Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes. Install it on the server and on every client. Each companion has one owner: nobody else can bond it, command it, pocket it or move it, and perks only help the owner. Perched animals are visible to everyone nearby.
Can I add it to an existing world?
Yes. Animals that are already there shrink when they load. Nothing is lost.
Can I take it out of a world?
Yes. Set tiny.enabled to false first and load the world once so the animals go back to full size, then remove the mod. Animals perched on you or inside a Pet Pouch are gone with the mod, so let them out and put them down first.
Does it work with other mods that change mob size?
It adds its own named size change to the vanilla scale attribute and removes only that one. Mods that also set animal size may stack with it or fight over the result, and we have not tested any of them. If sizes look wrong, set tiny.enabled to false or use the per-species scales.
Forge? Quilt? Other versions?
Fabric and NeoForge on Minecraft 26.3 and 1.21.1 (Fabric needs Fabric API). No Forge. Quilt can usually load the Fabric file, but we only test Fabric and NeoForge.
Can I use it in a modpack?
Yes, in modpacks on Modrinth or CurseForge that download it from the official page.
Can I make videos with it?
Yes, videos, streams and reviews are welcome anywhere.
