A deathly and obscure zone of the alterlands world, that provides access to occasional trees made out of Flux Wood, and also Flux Fang fruits. Below the surface one can find Crystal Caves and Delta Stone Caves
Provides Cortex Wood, Viction Fruits and a variety of flowers and other plants. The Cortex Templeshaft structure will spawn here on the upcoming 1.4 update
A picture of the Torches of each sector, including vanilla normal and soulfire variants. There are also Crystal Torches that use the crystals above mentioned and are waterloggable
Allows acces to the cave system of the Cortex Sector. 3+ unique cave types can be found beneath this surface, including Crystal Caves, Acid Aquifers and Mud Caves
A biome fully covered in Snow, with some arctic plants like the Tundra Herbalis and Arctic Cloud Blossom. This biome will soon hold Shalestone Ruins to explore, and also Ice and Snow Caves below the surface
A small portion of the Ribbon Forest can be seen here, it holds many similar properties to the Cortex Forest, but with Glistering Vines growing out of the Giant Cortex Trees, and also small veins with Lavastone that holds Acid inside
This is a handmade concept, but is a biome that i'm planning to add. It features Green Giant Glowshrooms, Conicox Crystals and also the new fluid Ceptidic Acid. It generates bubble particles all around

This biome is extremely hot, contains Lava Geysers and occasionally Giant Volcanos. Below the surface, it can generate the Igneous Caverns or the Underground Hot Springs biomes
The snow storms at this biome are quite heavy, as the extra particles makes rain in this biome something really interesting.
This is a cold biome, but not as cold as the Frozen Mountains. It has some snow particles constantly surrounding the environment, and some Cortex Trees can occasionally spawn here
A vast wasteland made out completely of Alpha Stone. It contains pillars and ruins infused with mysterious magic catalyzers. Skeletal Spiders like to nest in these areas, and the biome can extended below the surface
This is a picture from all of the current crystals from the mod, including the Amethyst from vanilla. These are Nydron, Zephyr, Cerberium, Conicox, Orxon, Primex and Torvallion
These are a type of small flower that has a unique 3D model attached to it, and generates in Cortex biomes, such as the Cortex Flower Plains and they come in Purple, Light Blue and White variants
A look above the clouds, for the frozen mountains biome. This biome holds uncommon glaciar flora and will get ruins and archeological sites upon releasing the upcoming 1.4 genesis update
