  • Added New Special Item: Vortex Rift - Allows the player to teleport to its spawn point (only set spawn), this has cooldown when used
  • All of the accesory abilities categorized as "mobility" (such as dashes, leaps, rams and teleports) now consume saturation when used (if the player has no saturation, it will consume hunger) This scales on Nova and Omega difficulties
  • Changed the generation of floating islands. Now they have 3 variants (for both overworld and alterlands). Being Shrine Island (current version), Monolith Island and Rift Island. These new version will have a 1/3 chance of being generated instead of the normal island, and will contain different features.
  • The Vortex Rift can now be found generating in Alterlands and Overworld Floating Islands, on the Monolith variant
  • Added the Combat Block mechanic to technically affect other features. This only affects the Home teleport for now, but more mechanics could be added in the future. Whenever the player takes damage, a 3 second cooldown starts, decreasing constantly until reaching zero again
  • The Vortex Rift now cannot be used if the player is Combat Blocked, displaying an error message if tried
  • Changed crafting recipes for Fusion Cores. Now requiring 2 Blocks of Blightstone/Glowstone and 1 Elemental Gem instead of a Core and 2 Gems
  • Sleeping now slightly heals the player by 6 (this changes to 3 in Nova difficulty, and is not present in Omega)
  • Sleeping now also gives a random buff in between Strenght, Resistance, Luck, Wrath, Jump Boost and Health Boost. This has a 20% chance of occuring when sleeping, and the buffs last 10 minutes
  • (Nova Difficulty): Decreased chances of applying an effect after sleeping from 20% to 12%, now only gives Resistance or Luck. Decreased buff time from 10 to 6 minutes

  • Added New Gameplay Mechanic: Hydration - A hopefully unique take on the water bar. This mechanic adds a water icon above your food and health bars, and instead of depleting and affecting the player in negative ways, this mechanic can only give you positive effects. The hydration effect can be activated when drinking or eating fruits, also by consuming potions. Different elements will grant different hydration values. The hydration buff is a hidden bonus that increases damage dealt to fire mobs by 20% and also slightly increases healing received from all sources (including food and potions). The icon has 3 different colors that mean how much time is left for the buff to ran out, and the hydration constantly decreases, and the biome temperature will make that if you're in a very hot biome (desert or nether), it will deplete 2x times faster. The mechanic is only avaiable in Nova and Omega difficulties, and will be toggable with a gamerule.
  • Added New gamerule: "toggleHydrationMechanic" - switch between logic values to disable/enable the hydration mechanic
  • Added New Drink: Pure Water Bottle

  • Updated sound references to made sound manipulation easier
  • Some mobs spawned in Nova or Omega difficulties have "Wrath" instead of "Berserker", this because the effect no longer works in entities that are not players
  • Mining Sites now are generated lower in the underground to prevent surface spawns
  • The Floating Island structure got reworked: Now the islands spawn empty with 20% chances, and if not, they can have one of 4 different structures on top of them: a Small Shrine, a Big Shrine, a Catalyzer Monolith or a Morphing Zone. This variants also apply to the Alterlands version. The structure is also more common now
  • Added some alterlands blocks to the tags "minecraft:slabs", "minecraft:fences", "forge:fence_gates" and "minecraft:walls"
  • All of the commands have received an overhaul. Now there's no longer multiple commands for different functions, they were merged into a single command with an argument system. The command will now be "/alterlands" but will accept multiple parameters, such as "credits" to see the credits and also for the rest of the previous commands like CrystalVariables.
  • Added New Block: Cosmite Soil - Created combining all of the dirt types and cosmite. Allows for farming any alterlands crop without the needs of using the right dirt or grass
  • Potted plants now set the Pot block if clicked with the middlemouse button on creative, instead of giving the potted plant
  • Reworked all the gilded vessel blocks. They are now called "Small Vessel" and have a new texture. They also have new loot drops
  • Added New Block: Medium Vessel (with Alpha, Alterstone, Solar, Void, Delta and Gamma variants)
  • Added New Block: Big Vessel (with Alpha, Alterstone, Solar, Void, Delta and Gamma variants)
  • Vessel blocks now use tags to determine what items are dropped, the tags added are:

  • Added World Mechanic: Progression Stages - This mechanics aims to divide the world in 5 stages, and each stage will have their advantages and disadvantages. The Progression stages only go up when a certain important event occurs, these are the triggers for increasing the progression:

Stage 0: Triggered upon World Creation Stage 1: Triggered after defeating the Ender Dragon Stage 2: Triggered after defeating the Wither Stage 3: Triggered after defeating all of the Alterlands Sector Minibosses Stage 4: Triggered after defeating the Cytronox Stage 5: Triggered after defeating the Skeletal Broodmother

  • Defeating the Ender Dragon and Wither now displays a message in chat for all players notifying that the stage of the world has changed

  • New Damage Source: Solar Eruption - This damage is dealt by the Solar Eruption debuff and will be also dealt by some specific alterlands mobs soon. Plays the burning sound effect when taking damage and doesn't scale with vanilla difficulty

  • New Damage Source: Atmospheric Pressure - Dealt only by the debuff of the same name. This damage bypasses effects, enchantments and armor, meaning that it cannot be reduced in any way with the traditional methods
  • New Damage Source: Soul Flames - Same as normal fire damage, but it ignores the resistance damage reduction. Can also be negated with the Fire Resistance effect
  • New Damage Source: Singularity Flames - Fire damage that ignores enchantments and armor DR. This damage can also ignore invulnerability frames, but gets reduced by the resistance effect and other damage reduction sources such as accesories
  • New Damage Source: Bloodflames - This isn't classified as fire damage, so Fire Resistance is useless against it. This damage bypasses armor but not effects or enchantments
  • New Damage Source: Bleeding - This is a generic damage source that bypasses armor, but not effects such as Resistance or enchantments such as Protection
  • New Damage Source: Cosmic Pearl - This is a specific damage source only applied from using Cosmic Pearls or their derivatives. This damage bypasses armor, resistance, enchantments and other damage reduction effects
  • Using Cosmic Pearls now deals slightly more damage and use their own damage source. They also spawn particles in both the initial and final position of the player that uses them. Using the pearl now also grants the Cosmic Stomper effect to decrease fall damage
  • The Soaring Striker enchantment now affects Bosses and any entity that is airborne (Like how Impaling works in Bedrock Edition, speaking of which...)
  • New Attribute: Fall Damage Resistance - This attribute is used to calculate fall damage. Some effects and accesories will modify it in some way. It's default value is 0 and works by percentage (0.1 is 10% DR)
  • New Attribute: Critical Strike Damage - This attribute is used to determine the final damage of a critical strike. Note that critical strikes can also be triggered by some accesories and not only when landing a hit during a fall. The default value is 1 and works by percentage (1.2 means crits deal 20% more damage)
  • The Impaling Enchantment received a buff and now works like it does in Bedrock Edition, basically any mob that is submerged in water or under the rain take the extra damage, and it's not limited to water mobs only like it is in Vanilla Java. Additionally any mob affected by the Wet debuff will also take this extra damage. The damage is the same as the enchantment does to water creatures, and this won't apply to mobs that already take that damage, such as Guardians and Fish
  • New Mob: Shadow Stalker - Small scorpion-like quadrupeds that hunt in packs on the Void Sector's most dark and lifeless biomes. Drops Chitin Fragments and 3 unique accesories

  • New Mob: Glowshroom Parasyte - Worm-like creatures that base their diet on plants but mainly on glowshrooms. It can spawn on biomes that have glowshroom flora, and when breaking said plants
  • New Mob: Jungle Eater - Piranha-like sea monsters that hunt in groups or individually. Their bite can cause blood loss and deal serious damage. It can flop around when in land and can leap towards any potential targets
  • New Mob: Moonlight Fish - Peaceful fish that eats kelp and seagrass, it spawns on dark caves with water and also in the surface but only at nighttime.
