⚔️ War System – Dynamic Mob Events & Raid Enhancements (1.20.1)

War System is a Minecraft datapack that transforms combat into a more reactive and dynamic experience.

Instead of static encounters, mobs (As of now ravagers & witches are active) now respond to battle conditions with unique behaviors and escalation mechanics.

Originally developed for the VillagerPvP SMP, this system is designed to make the world feel alive, where every fight can evolve.

• Also using this to test our datapacks before going deep into modding to further improve the Villager/Pillager war dynamic layout for VillagerPvP lore
• You can also use this datapack for singleplayer worlds as well ^_*

🔥 Features

🟥 Ravager – Reinforcement Phase

At low health, Ravagers trigger a combat event

Spawns:

Pillagers

• 2 Vindicators, 1 Witch, 1 illusioner, 1 evoker, 3 vex ~as of 6/26/2026 11:40PM CST

• I will update the Ravager video by 6/28/2026 to showcase the change as well
• - In progress for Ravager video, edu takes more importance ^_* . Only thing need to record w/ an  audio overlay w/ on screen text on what the Ravager is doing from the recorded video.

Plays a raid horn + firework signal

🟣 Witch – Infection Phase

At ~75% health, Witches summon infected units

Spawns:

Zombified Villagers ( resistance buffed)

Zombified Baby Villager ( Speed buff)

When the Witch reaches critical health, it no longer fights alone… it commands.

✨Evoker Commander

⚔️ The Evoker Commander Event deploys +7 Vex air units while empowering nearby Illagers, turning a normal encounter into a coordinated war assault.

• Strength, Speed, and Resistance for 20 seconds
  
  Ravagers siege. Witches summon. Now Evokers lead.

🏴 Pillager Captain

Pillager Captains will call in reinforcements (1 time only per captain) when taking damage , such as 2 Vindicators,  3 Pillagers, and 1 Ravager, Hrrm!!
