⚔️ War System – Dynamic Mob Events & Raid Enhancements (1.20.1)
War System is a Minecraft datapack that transforms combat into a more reactive and dynamic experience.
Instead of static encounters, mobs (As of now ravagers & witches are active) now respond to battle conditions with unique behaviors and escalation mechanics.
Originally developed for the VillagerPvP SMP, this system is designed to make the world feel alive, where every fight can evolve.
- Also using this to test our datapacks before going deep into modding to further improve the Villager/Pillager war dynamic layout for VillagerPvP lore
🔥 Features
🟥 Ravager – Reinforcement Phase
At low health, Ravagers trigger a combat event
Spawns:
Vindicators and Pillagers
Plays a raid horn + firework signal
🟣 Witch – Infection Phase
At ~75% health, Witches summon infected units
Spawns:
Zombified Villagers ( resistance buffed)
Zombified Baby Villager ( Speed buff)
When the Evoker reaches critical health, it no longer fights alone… it commands.
✨Evoker Commander
⚔️ The Evoker Commander Event deploys +7 Vex air units while empowering nearby Illagers, turning a normal encounter into a coordinated war assault.
- Strength, Speed, and Resistance for 20 seconds
Ravagers siege. Witches summon. Now Evokers lead.
🏴 Pillager Captain
Pillager Captains will call in reinforcements (1 time only per captain) when taking damage , such as 2 Vindicators, 3 Pillagers, and 1 Ravager, Hrrm!!
