Timber is a vanilla datapack for Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3. No mods, no plugins, no resource pack. Just drop it in and start chopping.

How it works

Hold any axe (wooden to netherite) in your main hand.
Break a single log block.
Every log connected to that tree breaks instantly and drops as items.
Leaves are left alone — they decay naturally, dropping saplings and apples like vanilla.

Breaking logs by hand does nothing special. The axe requirement keeps it balanced and griefing-free.

Natural leaf decay — vanilla sapling and apple drops
