Horse Armor Upgrades is a Vanilla+ datapack designed to make horse companions more durable, reliable, and rewarding to equip throughout the survival progression.
No longer locked entirely behind structure loot RNG, horse armor now features a sequential crafting and smithing upgrade path.
Every tier has also been rebalanced with better armor, toughness, and knockback resistance values.
Horse Armor can also now be enchanted with standard defensive enchantments using the Enchanting Table and Anvil.
