Description
[INDL] DeathReplay: Cinematic Killcam
Short Summary
Turns death into a cinematic experience. Records the last 10 seconds of your players' lives and lets them relive their defeat in an isolated 3D environment with slow motion, damage tracers, and loot explosions.
Full Description
Tired of players dying without knowing what happened? [INDL] DeathReplay is an advanced cinematics engine designed for technical, Hardcore, and extreme survival servers. This plugin records, in real time and with no performance impact (TPS), the last 10 seconds of each player's life.
Upon death, the player can run a command to be teleported to an isolated "Void" dimension, where an NPC clone with their exact skin will recreate their last movements frame by frame, surrounded by the precise environment and monsters that caused their death.
Key Features
- Interactive Cinema Mode: The viewer is placed in Adventure Mode (invisible and flying) with a custom control Hotbar. Allows pausing time (Redstone), activating Matrix-style slow motion (Clock), and exiting the replay (Barrier).
- Faithful Environment Recreation (via FAWE): The system performs a "rewind" of the terrain. If you placed or broke blocks, or if a Creeper exploded and left a crater, the replay map will show exactly those block changes at the exact moment they occurred.
- Entity Puppets: Records the positions of other nearby players and monsters. In the replay, "dumb" clones without AI will replicate the attacks.
- Tracers and RPG Damage: Arrows and tridents display magical particle trails in the air. Each hit received generates damage holograms (TextDisplays) bouncing above the victim's head.
- Final Loot Cinematic: At the moment of death, the NPC plays the real fall animation and the victim's entire inventory physically explodes into the air.
- Post-Death Grace Time: The camera does not cut instantly. The viewer gets an extra 5 seconds with the scene frozen to orbit their own corpse and see the scattered loot.
