How it works

Along with giving a unique texture to every potion depending on their effect and type, this version of Xali's Potions tries to circumvent Bedrock limitations by having detailed textures as UI overlays: unique textures that depend even on the duration or the strength of the potion.

However, since this is normally not possible in Bedrock, detailed potions have their limitations, and will lose temporarily their appearance in favour of base textures, which differ from each other in the potion type and effect only: 

• clicking in an inventory slot will cause the potions to revert to their base texture
• potions dropped on the ground and the ones that will have their base texture
• detailed textures will appear only if the potion is selected in the hotbar

Detailed potions can be disabled by choosing the Performance mode subpack in the pack settings. As the name suggests, this should give a slight performance improvement compared to the Full features subpack (the default one).
