Villager OP

Villager OP is a Bedrock behavior pack that reworks every villager profession, plus the Wandering Trader, into a proper trading network. Instead of grinding a villager through five levels for one decent enchanted book, every trade is unlocked from the first conversation, prices are cut down to a couple of emeralds, and no trade ever runs out. It's meant for people who like the building, exploring and fighting side of Minecraft more than the "wait for a villager to restock" side.

This is a behavior pack only. It doesn't touch any textures, models or sounds, so it won't conflict with resource packs or texture packs you already use.

What actually changes

Every profession trades from level one, there's no separate "unlock the next tier" grind, prices are low and fixed (they don't creep up the more you use a trade), and every trade has unlimited uses, so a villager you set up once stays useful forever. On top of that, there's a way to fix up villagers you already had in your world before installing the pack (details below, this part matters).

A few examples of what you'll find

• Armorer: full netherite armor, already enchanted with Protection IV, Unbreaking III and Mending, for one emerald a piece
• Weaponsmith: netherite swords and axes with Sharpness V, Looting III and Mending, plus a fully enchanted Trident
• Toolsmith: netherite tools with Efficiency V and either Fortune III or Silk Touch, and cheap netherite ingots by the stack
• Librarian: a real shop of top-tier enchanted books, Mending, Unbreaking III, Protection IV, Infinity and more, instead of random junk
• Cleric: bulk ender pearls, experience bottles, golden apples and a Totem of Undying
• Fisherman: an enchanted fishing rod, Heart of the Sea, and an enchanted Turtle Helmet
• Cartographer: maps, compasses, and an Elytra at the top of its trade list
• Wandering Trader: netherite ingots, diamond blocks, a Nether Star and other rare goods whenever it shows up

That's a sample, not the full list. Every one of the thirteen professions and the Wandering Trader has its own set of trades along these lines, so it's worth just spawning a villager and talking to it.

Installing it

1. Download the .mcpack file.
2. Open it (double-clicking it, or tapping it on mobile, will launch Minecraft and import it automatically). If that doesn't work for your platform, you can also import it manually from Settings > Storage > through the Minecraft app, or by placing it in your behavior_packs folder if you're on a server.
3. Go into a world you want to use it in (or create a new one), open the world settings, and go to the Behavior Packs tab.
4. Find "Villager OP" in the list of packs you own and activate it.
5. Save and load into the world.

You do not need to turn on any experimental toggles for the core trades to work. If you also enable the "Villager Trade Rebalancing" experiment in your world, note that Librarian trades specifically are handled by a separate, biome-based system from Mojang that this pack doesn't override, so leave that one off if you want the full effect.

About villagers you already had before installing this

This is the one limitation worth understanding, because it's a Minecraft thing, not a bug in the pack. A villager's trades get locked in the first time it actually trades with someone, and after that nothing, not this pack, not any other add-on, can rewrite what's already locked in. So villagers that were already employed and trading before you installed Villager OP will keep their old, vanilla trades.

The fix: sneak and right-click a villager while holding an emerald. It gets replaced on the spot and re-claims its job site within a few seconds, coming back with a fresh set of Villager OP trades. This costs one emerald and you can do it to as many villagers as you want. Any brand new villager that gets a job after you install the pack will roll the new trades automatically, no reroll needed.

Before you leave a rating or a comment

Please actually load it into a world and try trading with a couple of villagers first. Most reported issues turn out to be one of: the pack wasn't activated in world settings, an old cached version is still applied, or the villager in question is one that traded before the pack was installed and just needs the emerald reroll described above. If something is genuinely broken after that, a comment describing exactly which profession and trade it was helps a lot more than a rating on its own, and I'll take a look.
