What is the deal guys?

Yo! What is up guys? Voxel Bro here. Minecraft survival is amazing, but let us be completely honest for a second. Grinding mobs at night gets super boring after a few weeks. You kill a hundred zombies and all you get is a chest full of rotten flesh that you are just going to throw into lava anyway. I wanted to completely change how survival feels.

I wanted every single mob kill to actually mean something and give you a real adrenaline rush. So, I spent days building this massive Mystery Box and Economy add-on. This is not just a simple loot drop pack. This is a full-blown economy system right inside your vanilla world that rewards you for your grind.

The Mob Coin Grind

The absolute core of this add-on is the brand new Mob Coin system. Every single hostile mob you kill now drops a specific amount of coins directly into your digital wallet. Basic mobs like zombies and skeletons give you 5 coins, but if you take on harder enemies like Evokers, Wardens, or the Wither, you get a massive payout.

The Ender Dragon alone drops 150 coins. I also added a dynamic night system. If you go out hunting in the middle of the night, the script gives you a 1.2x coin multiplier for taking the risk. Sometimes you even get a lucky drop where the coins from a kill double instantly. It makes going out at night feel incredibly rewarding instead of just annoying.

The Mystery Boxes

So what do you actually do with all these coins? You open mystery boxes, bro. There are four different tiers of boxes: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The Common box costs 50 coins and is great for early-game items like iron, bread, and coal.

But if you save up 1500 coins for the Legendary box, you can roll for absolutely insane endgame loot. We are talking netherite ingots, totems of undying, enchanted golden apples, tridents, elytra, and even the ultra-rare dragon egg. The opening sequence is super clean too. When you buy a box, there is a cool suspense animation in the chat with sound effects before it reveals what you got. If you hit a rare drop, the whole server gets notified so you can flex your crazy luck.

How to Access the System

I absolutely hate add-ons that make you craft ten different custom blocks just to open a menu. I kept this 100% simple and vanilla-friendly. All you need is a normal book. Hold the book in your hand, crouch to sneak, and the custom UI menu opens right on your screen. From this menu, you can check your total coin balance, preview exactly what is inside every single box tier, check your personal opening stats, and access the shop. First-time players even get a 30% newcomer discount on their first ten boxes to help them get started.

The Upgrades and Shop

This is where things get really deep and addictive. I built a fully functional shop inside the UI. If you feel like your luck is terrible, you can actually spend your hard-earned coins to buy permanent luck upgrades. Every time you upgrade, your base chance of hitting a Lucky Roll (which literally triples your loot amount) goes up. You can also buy a 5-minute Coin Booster that doubles all the coins you get from killing mobs. And if you are totally broke after a bad opening session, there is a button to claim free bonus coins every 10 minutes.

Milestones and Global Events

To keep the server hyped and active, I coded in global events. Every 30 minutes, there is a 15% chance for a server-wide Double Luck Event. The add-on announces it in chat, a crazy sound plays, and for 5 minutes, everyone gets boosted odds on their boxes. There is also a huge milestone tracking system.

When you hit 50, 100, 250, or 500 total boxes opened, you get permanent luck bonuses, free diamonds, and massive coin rewards. Oh, and I also hid some secret easter eggs. Try being the 69th, 404th, or 666th box opener and see what crazy stuff happens.

Important Setup Note

Because this whole virtual economy, the custom UI menus, and the background timers rely heavily on custom scripts, you absolutely have to turn on the Beta APIs in your world experiments. Listen to me on this one. If you do not toggle Beta APIs before loading the world, the book menu will not open at all and you will not collect any coins.
