What is up, my fellow Minecraft grinders? If you are anything like me, you probably get a little bored after you finally beat the Ender Dragon, build a massive base, and get your full set of enchanted Netherite armor. Vanilla Bedrock is an amazing game, but it seriously lacks a reason to keep logging in every single day once you hit the endgame. There is no real long-term progression system to show off how much time you have actually invested in your survival world.
That is exactly why I created the Daily Grind add-on. I wanted to completely transform standard survival into a highly addictive RPG experience. This is not just a basic scoreboard tracker. This is a full-blown progression system with levels, prestiges, daily rewards, and achievements that actually gives you a reason to keep playing your world for hundreds of days without getting bored.
How the Progression Works
The core of this add-on is all about rewarding you for doing the things you already do in a survival world: killing mobs and mining ores. Forget the vanilla experience bar; this is a completely custom leveling system built from the ground up. Every time you slice up a zombie, shoot a skeleton, or mine a diamond vein, you earn custom XP. And yes, I made sure it is completely balanced. Killing a basic zombie gives you 5 XP, but taking down a Warden gives you 50, and the Ender Dragon drops a massive 150 XP.
Even mining gives you different rates depending on the rarity of the ore. As you gather XP, you will level up all the way from level 1 to the maximum cap of level 50. Every time you level up, you get a massive celebration screen, sound effects, and coin rewards. You even get a sleek action bar at the bottom of your screen that fills up as you grind, showing your exact level and XP progress without clogging up your gameplay.
The Prestige System
Reaching level 50 is just the beginning of the grind. Once you hit the maximum level, you unlock the ability to Prestige. If you have ever played classic multiplayer shooter games, you know exactly how this works. When you choose to prestige, your level resets back down to 1 and your XP goes back to zero.
But in exchange, you get permanent account multipliers that stay with you forever. For every single prestige rank you achieve, you get a permanent 5 percent boost to all future XP gained, a 5 percent boost to all coins earned, and a hidden luck bonus that triggers massive XP drops. You also unlock exclusive chat tags like Veteran, Master, Elite, and Legend. Plus, prestiging drops massive physical rewards into your inventory, like Netherite ingots and eventually a free Elytra if you manage to reach the insane goal of Prestige 10.
Daily Login Streaks
I really wanted to reward players who are dedicated to their worlds. So, I built a complete daily login system with a 7-day reward cycle. If you log in every day and claim your reward, you get free coins and XP, and sometimes rare items like diamonds or iron ingots. But the real secret here is the streak multiplier. If you manage to log in for 7 days in a row, your daily rewards get a 1.5x multiplier. Hit 14 days, and it jumps to 2x. If you are an absolute gaming madman and hit a 30-day streak, you get a massive 2.5x multiplier on all daily claims. Just do not miss a day, or your streak will instantly break and reset all the way back to zero.
Achievements and The Shop
To make things even more addictive, there is a massive achievement board tracking your lifetime stats in the background. There are unique milestones for killing up to 5000 mobs, mining thousands of ores, slaying specific bosses, and maintaining crazy login streaks. Unlocking achievements gives you huge coin payouts. What do you do with all these coins? You open up the built-in shop. You can spend your hard-earned coins to buy a 5-minute double XP boost to seriously speed up your leveling grind.
How to access everything
I hate typing long chat commands just to open a menu, so I made the controls super intuitive. All you have to do is hold a standard vanilla Book in your hand and sneak. That instantly opens up the custom UI dashboard. From this main screen, you can check your current level, claim your daily rewards, view your unlocked achievements, open the shop, or hit the prestige button when you are finally ready.
The Technical Setup
Because this add-on relies heavily on custom UI menus and advanced background tracking, you absolutely must enable the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings before you load the game. If you forget to toggle this on, the book menu will not open and the XP system will not track your progress.
