The Ultimate Survival Grind

Yo! What is up, Minecraft survival players? Let us be totally honest for a second. Farming mobs in vanilla Bedrock gets incredibly boring after your first few nights.

You build a standard mob grinder, stand there for hours, and just hit things with a sword. There is no real thrill, no rush, and no reason to actually hunt at night. 

I wanted to completely change how combat feels in survival Minecraft. I wanted to reward players who are fast, aggressive, and highly skilled. That is exactly why I built this Combo Kill system from scratch.

This add-on turns your regular survival world into a high-speed arcade hunting ground where every single kill matters, and being slow means losing all your hard-earned multipliers.

How the Combo Mechanic Works

The core system is all about chaining your kills together perfectly. The moment you kill any mob, a ten-second timer instantly starts ticking down, and a custom action bar pops up on your screen.

You have exactly ten seconds to find and kill the next mob. If you get another kill before the timer runs out, your combo streak increases, and your coin multiplier goes up.

The higher your streak gets, the more massive your multiplier becomes, capping out at a crazy five times the normal loot. But if you fail to find a mob and that ten-second timer hits zero, your streak instantly shatters, your multiplier resets to zero, and a sound effect plays to let you know you messed up.

It keeps you constantly moving, running through dark forests and caves trying to keep the combo alive.

The Coin Economy and Bounties

This is not just about flexing a high number on your screen; it is about getting rich. Every time you kill a mob, you earn custom coins. But not all mobs are equal.

A basic zombie or spider will only give you a few coins, but if you take down a ravager, an evoker, or a warden, the base coin drop is massive. 

On top of that, boss mobs like the Wither and the Ender Dragon do not just give you insane coins, they actually give you a bonus jump to your combo streak itself. And to make night hunting even more profitable, I added a secret night bonus. If you hunt between sunset and sunrise, you get a twenty percent coin bonus on every single kill. There is even a rare five percent lucky drop chance where a mob will suddenly drop double or triple the coins out of nowhere.

The Black Market Shop

So, what do you do with all these coins? You spend them on upgrades to protect your streaks. I coded a fully interactive custom shop directly into the game. All you have to do is hold a standard book in your hand and crouch to sneak. This immediately opens the Combo Kill menu.

Inside this menu, you can check your total kills, your personal best streaks, and open the shop. In the shop, you can buy a Streak Freeze. This is a lifesaver item. If you have a Freeze active and your ten-second timer runs out, the game will automatically consume the Freeze instead of breaking your combo, giving you a fresh timer to find the next mob. You can also spend your coins to permanently upgrade your combo timer, extending it from ten seconds all the way up to twenty-five seconds so you do not have to rush as hard.

God Status Milestones

I wanted to give you guys a reason to push your limits. As your streak gets higher, massive titles will pop up on your screen announcing your dominance. Hitting a twenty-five or fifty combo will actually broadcast a message to the entire server so your friends know you are going crazy. If you somehow manage to hit the ultimate milestone of a one hundred kill streak, you achieve God Status. The game will blast an epic sound effect, announce it to the world, give you a massive coin bonus, and drop raw diamonds directly into your inventory as a reward for your sweat.

Technical Setup

Because this system relies heavily on custom action bars, player memory states, and dynamic shop menus, it is mandatory that you enable the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings before loading the game. If you forget to turn this on, the script cannot run, the book menu will not open, and no combos will be tracked.
