What's new

⚒️ Titanium Add-on — Titanium-ized

A new weapon. A stronger Titan. An entirely Titanium-ized experience.

The Titanium Add-on continues its evolution beyond Netherite with custom weapons, intelligent equipment systems, enhanced boss mechanics, optimized assets, and a unified Titanium design philosophy.

v7.1.0 — Titanium-ized marks the Second Phase Finale, bringing together Titanium equipment, Payback, The Titan, visual identity, optimization, and stable scripting under one unified experience.

Compared to: v6.4.0 — Stable Edition

✦ What's New

🗡️ Titanium Spear

ti:titanium_spear
A new weapon forged for the Titanium arsenal.

Introducing the Titanium Spear, a dedicated Titanium weapon with its own 3D model, held-item attachable, animations, combat mechanics, and Payback integration.

The spear introduces a new combat style built around Jab and Charge attacks.

⚔️ Combat Features

  • 🗡️ Jab Attack: A fast close-range spear attack.
  • 🏃 Charge Attack: Charge forward for a stronger attack.
  • ☠️ Fatal Poison: Both Jab and Charge attacks apply Fatal Poison for 6 seconds.
  • 💥 Charge Multiplier: 1.2× damage.
  • 💨 High-Speed Charge: Can apply knockback and dismount effects.
  • ✨ Enchantable: Supports spear enchantments.
  • 🔊 Sounds: Uses vanilla Netherite Spear sounds.

🔧 Spear Properties

Property Value
Attack Damage 15
Durability 2,200
Rarity Rare
Fire Resistant Yes
Swing Duration 1.2 seconds
Survival Reach 2.0–4.5 blocks
Creative Reach 1.5–7.0 blocks
Charge Damage Multiplier 1.2×

🎨 Visual & Equipment Integration

  • 🎨 Custom 3D spear model
  • 🖐️ Custom held-item attachable
  • 🎒 Dedicated inventory icon
  • 🌐 English localization
  • 📦 Added to the Equipment tab under the Titanium tier group
  • 📚 Added to the crafting item catalog

🔨 Crafting

1 Titanium Ingot + 2 Titanium Sticks
Crafted in the Titanium Workbench using a diagonal arrangement.

The Titanium Spear can be repaired using Titanium Ingots or by combining two Spears.

💥 Payback v5.0

The Payback system, originally introduced in v5.0, returns as a major part of Titanium's evolving combat and equipment philosophy.

Payback is an adaptive system that reacts to:

  • 🛡️ Equipment type
  • ✨ Enchantment state
  • 💥 Incoming damage
  • 🔧 Equipment durability
  • 🎮 Player actions

This allows Titanium equipment to behave as an active part of combat rather than simply providing higher statistics.

🛡️ Adaptive Armor Payback

Titanium Plus armor can retaliate with negative effects when its wearer takes damage.

Equipment Normal Enchanted
⛑️ Helmet+ Poison Fatal Poison
🦺 Chestplate+ Blindness Blindness II
👖 Leggings+ Nausea Nausea II
👢 Boots+ Slowness Slowness II

Higher incoming damage can activate the stronger Payback behavior of enchanted equipment.

A 20-tick cooldown prevents Payback from triggering continuously.

⚔️ Weapon & Tool Payback

Different Titanium equipment produces different Payback effects.

Equipment Payback Effect
⚔️ Sword+ Weakness
⛏️ Pickaxe+ Slowness
🥄 Shovel+ Slowness
🪓 Axe+ Weakness
🌾 Hoe+ Hunger
🔨 Titanium Mace Weakness + Slowness
🗡️ Titanium Spear Spowness II
🛡️ Titanium Shield Slowness II + Weakness II

Enchanted equipment receives the corresponding enhanced Payback behavior.

🗡️ Titanium Spear Integration

The Titanium Spear is fully integrated into Payback.

  • ⚔️ Normal spear attack: Slowness II for 4 seconds
  • ✨ Enchanted spear attack: Slowness II for 6 seconds
  • 🗡️ Holding the spear: Slowness I

🛡️ Titanium Shield Integration

The Titanium Shield now continuously tracks its durability.

When an actively blocking shield successfully takes durability damage:

  • 💢 Payback can trigger Slowness II + Weakness II
  • ✨ Enchanted shields receive extended duration
  • 🛡️ The system verifies that the player is actively blocking before applying the effects

🔧 Persistent Plus-Tier Durability

Payback also manages independent durability behavior for Titanium Plus equipment.

  • 🛡️ Plus Armor: 1.5× durability wear
  • ⚔️ Plus Weapons: 2× durability wear for applicable uses
  • ⛏️ Titanium Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels and Hoes receive explicit durability handling when correctly breaking blocks
  • 🔄 Durability tracking operates independently from the Payback cooldown

🔄 Persistent Equipment States

Several Titanium items maintain continuous gameplay states:

  • 🔨 Mace: Slowness I while held
  • 🗡️ Spear: Slowness I while held
  • 🛡️ Shield: Slowness II while actively blocking
  • 🔧 Shield Durability: Continuously monitored for successful blocked hits

The result is a more reactive equipment system where Titanium gear actively responds to the player's current situation.

👑 The Titan — Enhanced

The Titan's HP is now 1000 replacing old 475 that made him vulnerable during battles.

The centerpiece of Titanium's endgame receives a major overhaul to its combat behavior, damage handling, regeneration, and animation systems.

The Titan is now more consistent in how it handles incoming damage, negative effects, attacks, and combat-state animations.

🛡️ Negative Effect Immunities

The Titan is now immune to:

  • ☠️ Poison
  • ☠️ Fatal Poison
  • 🌀 Wither
  • 🐌 Slowness
  • 💢 Weakness
  • 😵 Nausea
  • ⛏️ Mining Fatigue
  • 👁️ Blindness
  • 🍗 Hunger
  • 🪽 Levitation
  • 🌑 Darkness
  • 💥 Instant Damage
  • 🦠 Infested
  • 🫧 Oozing
  • 🕸️ Weaving
  • 🌪️ Wind Charged

These immunities prevent unintended status effects from interfering with the Titan's custom boss mechanics.

⚔️ Damage Adjustments

🏹 Projectile Damage
The Titan now receives only 20% of incoming projectile damage in both Normal and Rage forms.

✨ Magic Damage
Magic damage no longer affects the Titan.

🌀 Wither Damage
Wither damage no longer affects the Titan.

⚔️ Melee Damage
The previously invalid melee damage-reduction configuration has been fixed.

Titan Form Incoming Melee Damage
Normal Form 0.8×
Rage Form 0.65×

The intended melee damage reductions now function correctly.

❤️ Regeneration

The Titan now regenerates:

10 HP every 7.5 seconds
while below maximum health.

This provides the Titan with controlled passive regeneration during prolonged encounters.

🎬 Animation Improvements

The Titan's animation system has received extensive cleanup and corrections.

  • ☢️ Atomic Attack animation now plays correctly through the animation controller.
  • 🏹 Projectile Attack animation now plays correctly.
  • 💥 Nearby-mob damage animation now plays correctly.
  • 🏃 After attacking, the Titan returns to the correct chase animation.
  • 💢 After taking damage, the Titan returns to the correct Normal or Rage chase animation.
  • 🧹 Removed the unused healing animation.
  • 🧹 Removed its unused controller state.
  • 🧠 Fixed the Atomic Attack's self-Nausea issue.

The Titan's animation state now correctly follows its current combat behavior.

🎨 The Titanium Theme

One theme. One identity. An entirely Titanium-ized experience.

The Titanium Theme becomes the unified design philosophy of the Titanium Add-on.

This update moves beyond individual texture improvements and establishes a consistent identity across:

🛡️ Titanium Shield 256 × 256 128 × 128
🥚 Titan Spawn Egg 128 × 128 16 × 16

📦 File Size Improvements

The Boots+, Chestplate, Leggings+, and Sword+ textures received substantial file-size reductions.

Each of these textures is now under 1 KB, reducing resource usage while preserving the intended Titanium visual identity.

⚙️ Script Updates

Two new scripts were added to the Titanium Add-on:

Both scripts are imported through main.js.

These scripts provide the dedicated functionality required by the new Titanium Spear and enhanced Titan systems.
