The unnamed

**Five fully voiced story scenes** with timed subtitles - Two characters: **Jeff**, who's been surviving this for eleven years, and **Elias**, who didn't - An escalating hunt cycle that runs indefinitely until you end it - Sanity system

 The Unnamed

**Don't look directly at it.**

You wake up somewhere you don't recognise. A man called Jeff finds you before it

does, and he has about a minute to explain what's about to start happening —

then he hands you a wooden sword and disappears into the trees.

You have two days.

It hunts on a schedule

Every hunt lasts five minutes. Between them there's ten minutes of quiet, and

that quiet is worse. It appears **behind you**, twenty-odd blocks out, and it

does not approach. It stands there, and its head follows you.

Glance at it and you're fine. **Stare, and it comes.**

It semi learns how you play

Hide underground and it starts arriving closer, and more often. Run, and it gets

faster. Old habits fade, so changing your tactics genuinely works — but the

thing that nearly caught you last time will keep working on you until you do.

By the fourth hunt it stops arriving alone.

 Sanity

Being near it drains you. Looking at it drains you faster. Darkness during a

hunt does it slowly.

Drop low enough and you get nausea, then a heartbeat you can't place, then

whispers — and eventually the whispers start using **your username**.

Hit zero and it doesn't matter where you're hiding.

Carrying a torch is your only real defence.** Light triples your recovery and

keeps it further out. It also costs you the hand you'd put a weapon in, and

that's the whole point.

The Silence

There's one rule Elias gives you before he dies, and it's the only one that

matters:

> *"If you ever stop hearing the whispers — run. That means it isn't hiding

> anymore."*

Sometimes everything goes quiet. No whispers, no heartbeat, nothing. There is no

warning sound, no icon, no message — **the absence is the warning.** You have

about seven seconds to notice and move.

Most people don't notice the first time.

It can be killed

Iron won't do it. Diamond won't do it.

Find your way to the Nether, forge a **Netherite sword**, and the next hunt is a

different thing entirely. The fog lifts, the effects stop, and it stops stalking

you and simply comes — because it knows what you're carrying.

Five clean hits.
