Lucky Dirt 

 How you get it

Craft it at a crafting table with 3 dirt stacked in a vertical line (middle column, top/middle/bottom). It looks like a normal-ish block but stands out with a golden tint on maps.

 What happens when you break it

Two things fire simultaneously:

1. Loot drop (from the loot table — 2 rolls per break, weighted so common stuff is common and rare stuff is rare):

- Ultra rare: netherite ingot, totem of undying, elytra, enchanted golden apple

- Rare: netherite scrap, diamond block, diamond gear/weapons (some randomly enchanted), ender eye, shulker shell

- Uncommon: diamonds, emeralds, gold/iron blocks, enchanted books, golden apple, ender pearl, obsidian

- Common: iron/gold ingots, lapis, redstone, coal, arrows, experience bottles

- Junk/filler: dirt, cobblestone, web, rotten flesh, poisonous potato — keeps the gamble honest

- Meta drop: a small chance of getting *another* Lucky Block, so the luck can chain

2. A random surprise effect  (20 possible, one triggers per break):

 🟢 Good

- Speed & Strength — speed II and strength II for 30 seconds

- Golden Buff — saturation and regeneration II

- Iron Golem Ally — a friendly iron golem spawns to protect you

- Totem Sparkles — lucky particles, nothing bad happens

- Fortune Blessing — luck II, night vision and haste II for 60 seconds

- Wandering Trader — a trader spawns to do business with

- Friendly Chicken — a harmless chicken appears

🔴 Bad

- Small Explosion — knockback explosion, no terrain damage

- Lightning Strike — strikes your location

- Zombie Ambush — 3 zombies spawn around you

- Poison Trap — poison II for 5 seconds

- Levitation Trap — launches you into the air

- Wither Scare — wither effect applied

- Primed TNT — a lit TNT spawns, run fast

- Creeper Surprise — a lit creeper spawns right next to you

- Blindness Trap — blindness and slowness for 5 seconds

- Skeleton Army — 4 skeletons surround you from all sides

- Ender Guardian — an enderman spawns with eerie particles

🃏 Troll

- Nothing — a villager "no" sound plays and absolutely nothing happens

- Dragon Egg Drop — looks incredible, but now you have to figure out how to pick it up

Whatever happens, you get a short actionbar message telling you what just occurred (e.g. *"Uh oh... zombies!", "You feel restored!", "...nothing? Better luck next time."*), so the surprise is never a mystery.
