Faster tree chopping, with care for your builds.

Smart Tree Capitator is a Survival-friendly tree chopping addon for Minecraft Bedrock. Fell a tree with your axe while keeping durability, tool progression, and the surrounding world in mind.

Before chopping, the addon checks the trunk, leaves, branches, and nearby player-placed logs to decide whether you are breaking a natural tree. Its careful detection helps protect houses, bridges, decorations, and neighboring trees.

• Custom addon compatibility — recognizes many custom axes, logs, and leaves that use common names or tags.
• Survival durability — additional logs consume axe durability, respect Unbreaking, and stop being chopped when your axe breaks.
• Fast leaf cleanup — clears unsupported leaves with their normal drops while protecting placed leaves and leaves supported by nearby trees.
• Multiplayer support — prevents overlapping chopping operations on the same tree while allowing players to work on separate trees.
• Safe cancellation — chopping stops if you change tools, leave, die, or change dimensions.
• Smooth processing — trees are chopped progressively, with a limit of 192 logs per operation.
• Clear feedback — see how many logs were chopped and when the addon is ready again.
• 5-second cooldown — begins after chopping finishes.

Choose how you chop

Use the included Tree Capitator Config item to choose your preferred activation mode:

• Sneak Mode: sneak while chopping to fell the tree. Chop normally to break a single log.
• Reverse Sneak Mode: chop while standing to fell the tree. Sneak to break a single log.

Your choice is saved individually, so everyone in a multiplayer world can use their preferred mode.

The config item is given automatically when you first join. If you lose it, craft another at a crafting table using one stick.

Built for Survival

Your axe still does the work. Each additional log costs durability, Unbreaking helps your tool last longer, and a nearly broken axe will only chop as far as its remaining durability allows.

The short cooldown keeps wood gathering convenient without making tools and durability irrelevant.

More care around your world

Connected logs do not always belong to the same tree. Smart Tree Capitator uses tree shape, leaf coverage, and player-placed wood tracking to make a more careful decision.

These protections reduce accidental chopping, but unusual builds that closely resemble natural trees can still be misidentified. Player-placed log tracking also has a storage limit, so it should be treated as an extra layer of protection rather than an absolute guarantee.

Achievement-friendly design

Designed to work without enabling cheats or experimental features, including Beta APIs.

Achievement availability has not been confirmed in-game for this release. Keep cheats and experiments disabled, and check your world’s achievement eligibility when activating the addon. Installing this update does not restore achievements in a world that has already become ineligible.
