Night Vision BP
See in the dark without torches, potions or commands.
Night Vision BP gives every player permanent night vision, in every dimension. Caves, the deep ocean, the Nether and the darkest nights are all visible, and you don't have to brew a single potion.
Features
- Always on. Every player gets night vision automatically when they join and every time they respawn.
- Comes back by itself. If milk or death removes the effect, it returns within about one second.
- No flickering. Vanilla night vision makes the screen flash when the effect is about to run out. This pack renews the effect long before that point, so the screen never flashes.
- Respects your potions. A longer or infinite night vision effect you already have is never shortened, and a stronger amplifier is kept.
- No particles. The swirling effect particles are hidden. The vanilla effect icon may still show in your inventory.
- Multiplayer ready. Works for every player on the world or server, and one player's problem never affects anyone else.
- Doesn't change the world. It places no light blocks and adds no light sources, so mob spawning and light levels stay exactly as they are in vanilla.
No strings attached
- No cheats or commands
- No experimental toggles
- No resource pack needed
- Uses only the stable Minecraft Script API
- Designed to keep achievements enabled
Installation
1. Open Night-Vision-BP.mcpack. Minecraft will import it automatically.
2. Open your world's settings.
3. Go to Behavior Packs → My Packs → Night Vision BP and select Activate.
4. Load the world. Night vision is applied as soon as you spawn.
Works on new and existing worlds.
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.90 or newer
Good to know
- Blindness and Darkness still work as in vanilla. A Warden's Darkness will still dim your vision.
- Disabling the pack: if you deactivate it, the night vision it gave you wears off within 30 seconds.
- Updating: newer versions replace older ones automatically. You don't need to remove anything first.
