Three Powerful Ore Generation Modes

Ore Boost includes three different generation configurations, each designed for a different level of resource abundance.

Mode 1 — 3x to 5x Ore Generation

Balanced Ore Boost

This mode increases ore generation by approximately 3 to 5 times compared with normal Minecraft.

It makes ores more common while preserving the experience of exploring caves and searching for resources.

Ideal for players who want easier mining without making valuable materials excessively abundant.

Mode 2 — 8x to 10x Ore Generation

Enhanced Ore Boost

This mode significantly increases underground ore availability, generating approximately 8 to 10 times the normal amount.

It is designed for players who want to gather resources much faster and spend less time searching through underground terrain.

Useful for survival progression, large building projects, resource collection, and mining-focused gameplay.

Mode 3 — 10x to 15x Ore Generation

Maximum Ore Boost

The most powerful configuration in the addon, increasing ore generation by approximately 10 to 15 times.

This mode creates a much more resource-rich world, making underground mining considerably more rewarding.

Ideal for players who want maximum ore abundance, large resource collections, and faster access to mining materials.

Choose 3–5x for balanced survival, 8–10x for faster mining, or 10–15x for maximum ore abundance.

Installation & World Setup

Ore Boost modifies world generation, so creating a new world with the addon activated is recommended.

Step 1 — Download Ore Boost

Download the Ore Boost addon and import it into Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Step 2 — Create a New World

Open Minecraft and select Create New World.

Step 3 — Activate the Behavior Pack

While creating your world, navigate to Behavior Packs.

Find Ore Boost in your available packs and activate it.

Step 4 — Select Your Generation Mode

Choose your preferred Ore Boost configuration from the available pack options.

Select 3–5x, 8–10x, or 10–15x depending on how much you want to increase ore generation.

Step 5 — Optional X-Ray Vision

For easier ore discovery, you can also use my separate X-Ray Vision resource pack.

Enable X-Ray Vision through Settings → Global Resources.

This step is completely optional. Ore Boost works independently.

Step 6 — Recommended Video Settings

If you are using X-Ray Vision, open Settings → Video.

Set Smooth Lighting: OFF.

For clearer X-Ray visibility, also use Brightness: 100% and enable Night Vision.

These settings improve X-Ray visibility; they do not affect how many ores generate.

Step 7 — Start Mining

Create your world and begin exploring with your selected ore generation multiplier.

Important: Ore Boost affects world generation. Existing chunks may not receive newly generated ores, so use a fresh world for the intended experience.

Combine Ore Boost With X-Ray Vision

Want to find your increased ores more easily?

Ore Boost can be paired with my separate X-Ray Vision resource pack to create a more convenient mining setup.

Both packs have different functions.

Ore Boost increases the amount of ores generated in your Minecraft world.

X-Ray Vision changes block visibility, allowing underground resources to become easier to identify.

X-Ray Vision also includes three visibility modes for Overworld and Nether mining.

Combining these packs allows you to benefit from increased ore abundance while making hidden resources easier to locate.

However, X-Ray Vision is not required. Ore Boost functions as a standalone behavior pack.
