Description
⚔️ MOBS MASS MURDER: Hit one, hit them ALL! ⚔️- Achievement friendly too!
Experiments: none needed. Every experiment toggle can stay off.
This is one of my first new addons in a while, all my others are remakes of my old mods from really old bedrock. In game does not show lightning, it is used here to show all are affected when one is hit. Though I might consider it... that would be cool wouldn't it!!
Tired of chasing zombies one at a time? Cow farm overflowing? Creepers lining up like they own the place? Why swing a hundred times when one swing will do?
Mobs Mass Murder gives you swords, arrows, a bow and a crossbow that hit every mob of the same kind around you at once. Hit one zombie and every zombie within 16 blocks takes the same hit and gets knocked back. You get the credit for every one, so the loot and XP drop just like normal. Players are never hit.
🗡️ THE SWORDS
⚔️ Mass Sword: hits like a diamond sword (7 damage, 1561 uses), but every mob of the same kind within 16 blocks takes the same damage and goes flying.
🔥 Flame Mass Sword: everything the Mass Sword does, plus it sets them all on fire before the hit lands. Animals drop their food already cooked. Dinner for the whole village in one swing.
🏹 THE BOW, THE CROSSBOW AND THE ARROWS
🏹 Mass Bow and Mass Crossbow: crimson and gold upgrades of the vanilla bow and crossbow. They aim and fly just like vanilla, and they only shoot Mass Arrows.
➡️ Mass Arrow: hit one mob and the whole bunch around it takes the hit, just like the sword.
🔥 Flame Mass Arrow: same idea, but everything gets set on fire first. Cooked drops from across the field.
🎯 Pick your ammo: hold the Mass Bow or Mass Crossbow and start sneaking to choose Mass Arrows or Flame Mass Arrows. It remembers your choice, and you can still shoot while sneaking.
♻️ Missed shots aren't wasted. Walk over a stuck Mass Arrow and you get the same arrow back.
Regular arrows stay regular. No surprises.
🧲 DROPS & KILL COUNT (NEW in 1.0.2)
🧲 Drops in one pile: after a mass kill, every item and XP orb from those mobs floats into one pile right where you hit the first mob. No more running around the field picking things up. Drops that were already on the ground stay where they are.
☠ Kill count: a short line above your hotbar shows what you just took down, like "☠ Mass Kill: 14 Zombies" or "☠ Mass Kill: 9 Zombies, 3 Skeletons". Mobs show their real in-game names. It fades after a couple of seconds and never goes to chat.
✅ Works with both swords and both kinds of Mass Arrows, even on a single kill.
🐄 SAVE THE BREEDERS
Don't want to wipe out your whole cow farm? Sneak and use a Mass Sword or Mass Arrow while looking at an animal to turn on "Leave two alive" for that kind of animal. The two closest grown-ups get spared from the mass hit. It remembers your choice for each animal separately, so cows can be safe while pigs are fair game. Works for all 25 kinds of animals you can breed. Not offered for hostile mobs, since nobody needs two creepers.
And if you DO finish off the last two, each one leaves a baby behind so your farm can start over. That even works when they burn to death from your Flame sword or Flame arrows.
🛡️ WHO'S SAFE
- Tamed pets (dogs, cats, horses and the rest) only take a normal hit, never the mass hit.
- Villagers and wandering traders only take a normal hit.
- Baby animals only take a normal hit.
- Baby zombies and other baby hostile mobs get NO mercy. They get hit with the rest.
- Players are never hit by the mass effect.
