What is Mob Far Scaling?
If you enjoy exploring vast landscapes or digging deep into caves, you'll love this addon!
The farther you travel from the world's origin (0,0), the stronger mobs become. Every 2,000 blocks you venture out, enemies gain permanent power-ups. The deeper you dig below Y=50, every 12 blocks adds another level of difficulty.
You'll need to prepare carefully, as mobs deep in the wilderness or far from home will have significantly increased health, strength, and speed. What was once an easy enemy can become a deadly threat the farther you go!
Even monsters added by other addons will gain these scaling effects when spawned far from the world's center!
✨ Key Features
- Dual scaling system - Mobs get stronger based on horizontal distance from (0,0) and vertical depth below Y=50
- Progressive difficulty - Higher levels require exponentially more distance
- Customizable limits - Adjust max levels for Health Boost (1-251), Strength (1-20), and Speed (1-10)
- Boss Resistance System - Bosses gain progressive damage reduction (5% per level, max 85%)
- Special Ender Dragon Configuration - Fixed resistance (0-90%) with bonus XP equal to resistance percentage
- Ore Drop System - Monsters and bosses drop valuable ores (Copper, Iron, Gold, Emerald, Diamond)
- Progressive XP rewards - +1 orb every 2 levels for monsters (max 18), faster scaling for bosses
- Four mob categories - Monster, Animal, Creature, and Boss, each toggleable independently
- Dynamic Mob Lists - Add/remove custom animals, creatures, and bosses with persistent lists
- Blacklist System - Exclude specific mobs from scaling (empty by default)
- Persistent Configuration - All settings save automatically and survive world reloads
- Bilingual interface - Full support for English and Spanish with per-player language persistence
- No cheats required - Works perfectly with achievements enabled
⚙️ How Scaling Works
Every time a mob spawns, its level is determined by distance from the world center. The further you go, the higher the level!
