How many Zombies have you killed? What is your best streak? Who is the top killer on your server? Kill Counter tracks every kill you make, builds streaks with a combo timer, and ranks you up as you master each mob. 💀🔥🏆

Features

The Kill Tracker item 🧭

You get a Kill Tracker the first time you join. Use it (right-click or tap) to open your stats menu. It is made to never get in your way:

• it can't be dropped or thrown out
• it can't be crafted, so nobody can make extras
• you keep it when you die

Lost it somehow? Run /scriptevent kc:give to get a new one. You can also open the menu any time with /scriptevent kc:menu.

Kill streaks 🔥

Every kill adds to your streak. Land the next one within 20 seconds to keep it going. The HUD shows a timer bar so you always know how much time is left. Dying resets your streak.

Each tier shows a title on your screen and plays a sound that gets higher as the streak grows. From Triple Kill up, you also get a little bonus XP.

Mob mastery 🏅

Kill the same mob over and over to master it. You get an alert every time you reach a new tier:

Ranks 👑

Your total kills decide your rank:

You also get a milestone alert at 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000 kills. Reaching 1,000 kills or more announces your new rank to the whole server.

Boss kills ☠️

When someone defeats the Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden or Elder Guardian, the whole server gets a message. Bosses are counted separately in your stats.

Leaderboard 🏆

The leaderboard uses a scoreboard, so it also shows players who are offline. Admins can show it on the side of the screen for everyone:

Run /scriptevent kc:sidebar again to hide it.

Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file.
2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock. It imports automatically.
3. Create or edit a world and activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
4. Load into your world. You get your Kill Tracker a few seconds after you join.

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60 or newer. If the menu or the item doesn't work, turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings.

Commands ⚙️

Everything else is in the in-game Settings page, so players don't need cheats to change their own options.

Tips

• Go after groups of mobs. The timer is 20 seconds, so a mob farm or a dungeon is perfect for a big streak.
• Check the Mastery page to see which mob is closest to its next tier.
• Playing on a server? Show the sidebar leaderboard and start a friendly competition.
• Don't like the action bar? Turn the HUD off in Settings. Your stats are still saved.

FAQ

Do I need any experimental features?
The pack uses the Scripting API. If the menu or the item doesn't work, turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings.

Do I need to activate the Resource Pack?
Yes. It only contains the icon of the Kill Tracker item, but without it the item has no picture.

Are my stats saved?
Yes. Stats are saved per player in the world, so they stay when you leave and come back.

Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes. Every player has their own stats, streak, HUD and settings. The leaderboard is shared by the whole world.

Do player kills count?
Yes. Kills on other players are counted in their own category and also add to your streak.

Does it work on mobs from other add-ons?
Yes. Any mob you kill is tracked, and modded mobs are counted as hostile or passive automatically.

Can I drop or lose the Kill Tracker?
No. It can't be dropped or crafted, and you keep it when you die. If it is ever missing, use /scriptevent kc:give.

Can I reset my stats?
Yes. Open the menu, go to Settings and turn on "Reset ALL my stats". You will be asked to confirm.

Can I change the streak time or the ranks?
Yes. Open scripts/main.js. At the top you can change the streak time, the ranks, the mastery tiers, the streak titles and the milestones.

Does it work on mobile and console?
It works anywhere Bedrock supports add-ons with scripting.

Notes

• Only kills made by players are counted. Mobs dying from other causes are ignored.
• Each player's stats keep up to 80 different mob types.
• No particles or extra sounds are downloaded. The pack uses Minecraft's own sounds.
