Showing a real item icon on the HUD means borrowing a slot in your inventory for a split second. Do that carelessly and one day your diamond sword is just… gone. Do it the lazy way instead and every add-on item becomes a grey question mark, and the icons break the next time Minecraft updates.

Every block, item, mob and effect name now comes straight from Minecraft's own translations, in every language the game supports. And JAWA's own menus and labels speak German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Korean too. Playing in German, Japanese or Portuguese? So is JAWA. Add-on blocks show the names their pack gives them, and no more "Lit Furnace" or "Wall Sign". Just Furnace and Oak Sign, like the game says.

/jawa:config is brand new: seven tidy sections, changes that apply the moment you make them, a description under every setting, and a reset button for when you've gone a bit too far with the frame opacity.

• The overlay could vanish after a minute of looking at the same thing. It stays now. And it clears properly the moment you look away
• Plain minecarts never showed. They do now
• Light gray shulker boxes wouldn't show their contents. Sorted
• Copper armour now counts towards armour points
• Frozen hearts now show for mobs standing in powder snow
• Dropped items now follow your position and setting changes

• Switch off blocks, mobs or dropped items if you only care about one
• Add-on with a ridiculously long name? Have JAWA just say "Add-On"
• Faster or lighter — choose how often it updates

👮 SERVER ADMINS 👮

/jawa:admin sets the defaults every new player starts with, and locks any setting so nobody can change it. Locked settings show greyed out in everyone's menu, so nobody wonders why their opacity won't budge.

1. Download the .mcaddon
2. Open it — Minecraft imports it automatically
3. Create or edit a world, go to Behavior Packs, and turn on JAWA
4. The Resource Pack switches itself on with it
5. Look at something. Anything.

Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50 or newer. No experimental toggles required, so your achievements are safe. Works on Realms and servers. Plays nicely with UI packs like Déesse UI, whichever order you load them in.

Just update. Your settings come with you, including whether you'd switched the overlay off, and admin defaults and locks carry over too.
