MOBS:

  • Removed the ability for custom mobs to regenerate health while resting. Most can now be healed by feeding them, making items more useful.
  • Golden Dandelions now work on custom baby mobs, preventing them from growing up.
  • Effects released by Mushlings no longer affect other Mushlings.
  • Skeleton Footman now shoot Copper Powder Magic Missiles when wielding a Powder Staff.

  • Crates Traders now offer the Learning Book of Crates Trading at the Apprentice level (Level 3).

ITEMS:

  • Removed Copper Scrap.
  • Added Copper Powder, crafted using Copper Nuggets in the Artifacture Table or by smelting copper items in a Blast Furnace. It can be used as ammunition for the Powder Staff or sprinkled into a Spore Pot.
  • Powder Staff:
    • Increased area damage radius.
    • Increased projectile particle effects; they no longer expire when hitting a block.

BLOCKS:

  • Added the Copper Spore Pot, created by sprinkling Copper Powder into a clear Spore Pot.
  • Added Trial Crate and Ominous Trial Crate. Trial Crates can be found naturally in the deepslate layer underground, and can also be obtained through trading with the Crates Trader. They can be opened using Trial Keys and drop loot similar to Trial Vaults.
  • Added the Block of Leaf Litter, crafted from 9 Leaf Litter and can be decrafted back into 9 Leaf Litter. Can also be composted and used as fuel.
  • Added the Dry Grass Bale, crafted from 9 Tall Dry Grass and can be decrafted back into 9 Tall Dry Grass. Can also be composted and used as fuel.

  • Fixed an issue where the Lapis Lazuli Apple did not apply status effects after consumption.
  • Magic Staffs, Wands and the Piglin War Hammer can now be enchanted with Silk Touch and Efficiency, and can no longer be enchanted with Curse of Binding.
  • Berry Cookies:
    • Reduced the duration of the Regeneration effect on Sweet Berry Cookies and the Night Vision effect on Glow Berry Cookies.
    • Increased the chance for effects to apply on consumption from 5% to 10%.

TRADINGS:

  • Updated Wandering Trader trades.
  • Copper Horse Armor can now be sold by Expert-level Armorers for Emeralds.

RECIPES:

  • Added all missing recipes to the Wood Cutter. (Note: Multiple error logs may appear when Creator Settings are enabled.)
  • Improved recipe unlocking: custom item recipes are now unlocked when any of their crafting ingredients are obtained.
  • Removed the Copper Scrap recipe from smelting Copper Blocks or Copper items in a Blast Furnace.
  • Removed the Blooming Corrupted Oak Sapling recipe from the Crafting Table. It can now only be crafted using the Grafting Table.
  • Glow Lichen Carpets can now also be crafted using the Grafting Table.
  • Reduced the amount of Hanging Moss required from 2 to 1 for Mossy Cobblestone (Stairs, Slabs, Walls) and Mossy Stone Bricks (Stairs, Slabs, Walls) recipes.

Known Issues/Bugs

Non-solid custom blocks:

  • Vanilla fences and walls are connected to a non-solid custom block.
  • Grass block will transform into dirt when non-solid custom block is placed at the top of it.
  • Some of the non-solid blocks won't break when the supporting blocks are broken.

Custom leaves won't decay:

  • The custom leaves are not decaying after breaking all the logs or wood on the tree.

Missing vanilla biomes:

  • Some of the vanilla biomes were removed to generate the new biome.
  • Currently, the removed biomes are Swampland, Jungle, and Wooded Badlands.
  • To help resolve this issue, please vote on the bug on Mojang: MCPE-100700

Broken structures generation:

  • The structures may have broken or missing parts when they are generated in the world.
  • Also, some structures end up colliding with other structures when they are generated in the world.

Potion can fill the Jar:

  • Potion can be fill the Empty Jar or the Jar of Water (Half), and turn them into water.

Stripping wood sound:

  • Custom axe doesn't make a sound when stripping wood.

Equipment model doesn't show glints:

  • Equipment model with a glowing texture doesn't glint when it has an enchantment.
  • This refers to olivine armor and magic staffs.
  • The enchantments are still applied to the equipment, but it's just don't show the glints in the model.

Magic Staffs swing animation:

  • Magic Staffs no longer play the swing animation when you use them.

Crates loot spawns are not centered:

  • Wooden crates and locked crates loot spawns aren't centered on block location.
  • To help resolve this issue, please vote on the bug on Mojang: MCPE-156080

  • Add-on may only be compatible with Minecraft version 26.10 or higher.
  • This add-on is NOT using a 'player.json' file.
  • This add-on is mostly compatible with other add-ons.
  • Add-on will work on the realm or server; just make sure you install the correct files.
  • Add-on is not tested yet on the beta and preview versions of Minecraft, so expect some bugs if you are using those versions.

Installation!

  • Download the 'Forsaken Odyssey (v1.18.8).mcaddon', or the seperated packs (Behavior Pack & Resource Pack).
  • Import the packs into Minecraft and wait until the both behavior pack and resource pack are successfully imported.
  • Make sure to install both the behavior pack and resource pack before entering you world.
