Chat Ranks — Chat Management

Chat Ranks is a fully customizable Minecraft Bedrock Edition chat management addon designed for servers that want better chat formatting, ranks, player name customization, moderation tools, and easy configuration through simple in-game menus.

• Reset Player — Completely reset a player's chat modifications.
• Default Rank — Automatically assign a default rank to players who do not already have one.
• Undername Ranks — Display a player's rank underneath their name.
• Spam Filter — Control how frequently players can send messages.
• Player Mute — Prevent individual players from chatting.
• Global Mute — Temporarily disable chat for the entire server.
• Immune Tags — Allow specific players or groups to bypass chat restrictions.
• English & Spanish — Switch the addon language between English and Spanish.

Commands

Chat Ranks uses its own /chat: command system.

• /chat:config — Opens the Chat Ranks configuration menu.
• /chat:mute <player> — Mutes a player from chat.
• /chat:unmute <player> — Unmutes a player.
• /chat:glbmute — Toggles global chat mute.
• /chat:lang <EN|ES> — Changes the addon language between English and Spanish.

How to Use

Install Chat Ranks on your Minecraft Bedrock Edition world or server and open the configuration menu using /chat:config.

From Manage Chat Modifications, administrators can add ranks, customize player name colors, modify message colors, configure display names, and reset players.

The Remove Chat Modification menu first asks for the player's name and then lets you select exactly which modification to remove.

The Reset Player option completely clears the player's chat modifications.
