Disastrous Dunes adds several new blocks to the surface of the Desert and Mesas, it also adds new desert biomes!

Desert Wastes:

MESA CHANGES:

the mesa has been given more dead plants, surface fossils and Quick Sand 

DUST WIND:

Dust Wind happens whenever its raining in the overworld!

SANDSTORMS:

Sandstorms happen whenever a thunderstorm is happening in the overworld

Underground Desert/Mesa Changes

The 2 biomes now have spikes underground, alongside replacing all the stone with their own special stone, it even extends to the Deepslate Layer

STRUCTURES:

this addon only adds 3 new structures and theyre both for the desert, they both have suspicious sand as the loot

TOPAZ CAVES

Topaz Caves spawn under regular mesa biomes!

ITEMS:

theres a new weapon, Claymores, Claymores act similar to sweeping edge from java

Amber Items: Amber is an alternative to diamond except with stronger durability, amber replaces diamonds in the desert/mesa

Scorpion Items: Scorpion Items are made from Scorpion Stingers and are an alternative to iron, but more effective against modded blocks

Bronze items: Bronze is made by crafting bronze alloy with Tin and Copper ingots, the gear has higher durability than iron and the same stats as iron

Topaz items: Topaz Items are weaker than diamond in stats but stronger in durability, topaz is found in the Topaz Caves

MOBS:

Sand Cyclord: Sand Cyclord jumps at players and launches them around via exploding wind charges on itself, depending on how close you get, this mob will have different effects, 3 blocks is wind charge blast, 2 blocks is blindness for 2 seconds and 1 block you take 8 damage

Dusted: The Dusted throws balls of sand at the player:

Sand Mite:  Sand mites attack the player via melee damage
