🔥 What is Definitive Ore Miner?

Definitive Ore Miner is a highly configurable mining addon designed to make mining faster and more convenient while still giving you control over how it works.

Use it as a Vein Miner for connected ores or configure it to excavate tunnels using different sizes, shapes, speeds, and mining rules.

• Added a new real-time mining preview.
• You can now see which blocks will be affected before you start mining.
• The preview works in every direction, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Improved the preview to use fewer particles and look much cleaner.
• Preview particle density automatically adjusts depending on the mining area size.

👁️ Real-Time Mining Preview

See exactly what will be affected before breaking the first block.

The preview follows your current Mining Area and Mining Shape settings and works correctly in every direction:

• Walls
• Floors
• Ceilings

Particle density automatically adapts to the selected mining area, keeping larger previews cleaner and avoiding unnecessary particle spam.

📕 Configuration Book

The Configuration Book lets you customize how Definitive Ore Miner works in your world.

🔢 Base Blocks

Sets the maximum number of blocks that can be mined in a single activation.

The miner continues following the selected mining pattern until it reaches this limit or there are no more valid blocks to mine.

📐 Mining Area

Choose the size of the affected mining area.

• Line — Mines a single block wide.
• 1x2 — Mines two blocks vertically.
• 2x2 — Mines a 2×2 area.
• 3x3 — Mines a 3×3 area.
• 4x4 — Mines a 4×4 area.
• 5x5 — Mines a 5×5 area.

The selected Mining Area also affects the size of geometric patterns such as Circle, Triangle, and Cross.

🔷 Mining Shape

Choose the pattern used while mining.

• Line — Mines straight forward.
• Stair — Creates a staircase that automatically goes up or down depending on where you start mining.
• Circle — Mines using a circular pattern that moves forward.
• Triangle — Mines using a triangular pattern that moves forward.
• Cross — Mines using a cross-shaped pattern that moves forward.

⏱️ Progressive Mining

Instead of breaking every affected block instantly, blocks can be mined progressively over time.

This creates a smoother mining animation and can reduce lag when mining larger areas.

⚡ Progressive Speed

• Slow — Breaks blocks more slowly.
• Normal — Balanced speed.
• Fast — Breaks blocks quickly.
• Very Fast — Breaks blocks almost instantly.

🥷 Enable Only When Sneaking

When enabled, Ore Miner activates only while you are sneaking.

Disable this option if you want the mining system to work without crouching.

✨ Mining Particle

Enable or disable the particle effects displayed while blocks are being mined.

💎 Only Ores

Choose what Ore Miner is allowed to affect.

• ON — Only ore blocks are mined.
• OFF — Ore Miner can also mine stone and other supported blocks.

📊 Show Actionbar

Displays an Actionbar showing the number of blocks mined and the current mining progress.

📦 Drop Blocks

Choose whether automatically mined blocks should drop their normal items.

• ON — Blocks drop their normal items. Fortune and Silk Touch are supported.
• OFF — Blocks are removed without dropping items.

🛡️ Pickaxe Durability Cost

Choose how much durability Definitive Ore Miner consumes from your pickaxe.

The available values range from 1 to 10 durability points per use.

🍀 Fortune

Fortune works with supported blocks automatically mined through Ore Miner when block drops are enabled.

🧊 Silk Touch

Silk Touch behavior is supported by the automatic mining system.

✨ Ore XP

Ore Miner correctly handles experience drops from ores.

🛡️ Unbreaking

Unbreaking is supported when Ore Miner consumes durability from your pickaxe.

⛏️ Tool Tiers

Definitive Ore Miner checks the pickaxe tool tier so a pickaxe cannot automatically mine blocks it normally should not be able to break.

Custom pickaxes are also supported when they correctly use Minecraft tool tiers.

🔗 Connected Ore Detection

Ore Miner focuses on actually connected ore blocks.

The system no longer scans through large amounts of stone and accidentally detects unrelated ore veins farther away.

This provides:

• More predictable Vein Mining.
• No random remote ore detection.
• Less unnecessary block scanning.
• Better performance.

If Enable Only When Sneaking is enabled, crouch and mine the block you want to activate Ore Miner.

If you mine without crouching, the block breaks normally.

Definitive Ore Miner does not require Experimental Features to work correctly.

👤 No PLAYER.JSON

Definitive Ore Miner does not use PLAYER.JSON, helping it remain compatible with other Add-ons.
