Ever wanted an addon that simply adds a handful of new features to enhance your Minecraft world? Well I’ve got you covered! Introduced by this addon is a new ore you can find underground as well as an alloy you can make with it, featuring a new set of tools and armor, blocks and structures with some new utility mobs to be found in them as well. Suit up and get ready for some exploration in the Brass & Class Update!
Introduced by this addon is a brand new ore named Zinc, which you can uncover deeper in the caves of the world and mine with a pickaxe to collect some Raw Zinc. Take that Raw Zinc to a crafting table and you can make plenty of new things, from decorative lamps and blocks to utilities like the Shock Boots that let you run faster and the Storm Staff which you can use to attract bolts of lightning at any time you want, or craft into a Lightning Box with some Copper!
Perhaps the most notable use of Zinc Bars are to combine them with those many ingots of Copper that you may have lying around to create Brass! With this alloy, you can create a set of tools and armour that are faster and stronger than iron but weaker than diamond, giving you a new choice of tier that comes in between those two sets! Using Brass you can also craft instruments to be used as weapons, and also many decorative blocks such as bricks, glass, lanterns, chains, doors and trapdoors to spice up your builds even more!
Furthermore, this addon introduces a new use for good ol' Copper as well. The Copper Horns that were removed a while ago before they could even make it to the game have been reintroduced; cover your Goat Horns in Copper Ingots to be able to play glorious new sounds!
Finally, this addon also includes a handful of new structures that you can find whilst exploring your world. Small Workshop Ruins can be found on both the surface and in the caves beneath, which house some resources and also a new mob called the Zinc Golem. This small little robot will follow you around if you hold a craftable Energy Attractor, and can be used to store some of your items as well as attack nearby mobs! Crumbled Forts can also be found in Taiga biomes, which contain some pretty good loot but are guarded by hostile Brass Turrets that will blast intruders with a flurry of bullets. Those same turrets will also guard small Pillager campsites that you can find in the same biomes as Pillager Outposts, so keep your eye out for that! To take down these turrets easily, craft yourself a Screwdriver and use that to dismantle them instantly!
One of the larger structures added is the Brass Chamber, which can generate in the deepslate layer of your caves. This chamber is not just teething with more tureets that will attack you, but also Zombies and Skeletons so watch out for them! But there are some great items that can be found in this place, one of which being a new item called the Schematic. You can use this to craft several useful items, including the Copper Pistol that can fire Copper Bullets and uses Copper Rounds (crafted from copper nuggets) as ammo, the Zinc Battery that can be used to supercharge Zinc Golems and even your own rideable Brass Turrets that will attack enemies!
