Description

Andy's Configurable Vein Miner and Tree Capacitor

Mine connected blocks and fell trees by crouching while you break the first block. Every option starts off, allowing world owners to choose exactly what the add-on can affect.

Features

  • 25 configuration switches, all disabled by default
  • Ores, Tree Logs, and Leaves category switches
  • 22 individually controlled terrain and building-material groups
  • Pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, and shears support
  • Correct per-block Survival durability and Unbreaking behavior
  • Minecraft-native Fortune, Silk Touch, custom drop, and tool-condition evaluation
  • Fast overlapping break waves with randomized 1–3 game-tick branch timing
  • One matching material sound per additional block
  • Face, edge, and corner connections for ores and individual materials
  • Exact-type logs include diagonal side branches
  • Exact-type leaves stay face-connected and bounded
  • Related stone/deepslate and lit/unlit ore variants connect
  • Drops gather at the first block
  • Gathered drops scatter upward and visibly fall at the first block
  • Identical wave timing, sounds, durability, and gathered-drop behavior across every enabled material
  • Live sand and concrete-powder tracking prevents falling blocks from randomly cancelling the wave
  • Optional All In One Tool and Core Craft compatibility
  • No required resource pack or optional dependency

Install and configure

  1. Open Andys Configurable Vein Miner and Tree Capacitor 2.0.4.mcaddon with Minecraft.
  2. Wait for the successful-import message.
  3. Create or edit a world.

  5. Activate Andy's Configurable Vein Miner and Tree Capacitor.
  6. Select the active pack's gear/settings button.

A visible | means a switch is on; O means it is off. All switches are off immediately after installation.

Use

  1. Enable the relevant block setting.

  3. Crouch.
  4. Break the first configured block.
  5. Stay crouched while connected blocks are processed.

Release crouch or change tools to stop.

Durability and drops

Minecraft handles the first block normally. Every additional durability-consuming block costs one tool use. Unbreaking is evaluated for each additional block, unbreakable tools remain unbreakable, and the operation stops when the tool breaks.

Minecraft's own loot tables generate additional drops using the current main-hand tool. Fortune, Silk Touch, and custom block drops therefore remain available.

Creative mode produces no Survival drops or durability loss. The doTileDrops game rule is respected.

Optional compatibility

All In One Tool

The 26.30 AIOT items work as universal pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe tools. Their current durability and enchantments are used. AIOTs do not replace shears.

Core Craft

Core Craft 1.2.1 support includes Ruby Ore, Deepslate Ruby Ore, Voidshard Ore, compatible tree blocks, leaves, moss, and tools that publish standard Bedrock tool tags.

Both add-ons are optional and are not bundled.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happens

  • Confirm the behavior pack is active.
  • Turn on at least one setting.
  • Crouch before the first block breaks.
  • Hold the correct tool.
  • Confirm the block belongs to the enabled setting.

Only one block breaks

  • Remain crouched.
  • For ores and individual materials, confirm the blocks touch by a face, edge, or corner.
  • For logs, confirm blocks of the exact same type touch by a face, edge, or corner.
  • For leaves, confirm blocks of the exact same type touch face-to-face.

Leaves do not work

Enable Leaves and start with shears. AIOTs are not treated as shears.

Mud, clay, sand, or concrete powder does not work

Use a shovel and enable that individual switch.

Hard blocks do not work

Use a pickaxe and enable the exact material switch.

Moss or sculk does not work

Use a hoe for ground moss and sculk. Use shears for hanging moss.

The import fails

  • Confirm the filename ends in .mcaddon, not .zip.
  • Download it again if the file may be incomplete.
  • Close and reopen Minecraft.
  • Do not extract or recompress the package.

An older version still appears

Remove the old copy under Settings → Storage → Behavior Packs, restart Minecraft, and import 2.0.4 again.
