Tempest Lottery – Automated Server-Wide Timed Draws & Growing Jackpot Pot

Play money only. Players enter using the coins they earn in-game, never money bought with real cash: no Tempest plugin sells coins, and nothing won can be cashed out. Admins can set a shared daily wagering limit across Slots, Lottery, and Coinflip in /tempest → General, and Tempest Events never boost games of chance.

Automated, server-wide prize drawings that bring your whole server together: every ticket bought adds to a growing jackpot pot shown live on the HUD and /board, countdown reminders build anticipation in chat, and when the timer hits zero a winner is drawn with a full-screen fanfare and optional Discord webhook post. Works with Tempest Economy or any VaultUnlocked economy.

Key Features

• Automated Timed Rounds & Growing Pot:
  • Set the draw interval (e.g. every 60 minutes), starting seed pot, and ticket price in /tempest → Lottery. Every ticket sold grows the pot in real time.
• Transparent Weighted Odds (/lottery):
  • Each ticket equals 1 equal entry in the draw. Typing /lottery shows the current pot, time until the next draw, tickets sold, your tickets, and your exact percentage chance to win.
• Optional House Tax Sink (Winner's Share %):
  • Award 100% of the pot to the winner, or set a Winner's Share % (e.g. 90%) so 10% of every round is removed from circulation as an automatic inflation money sink.
• Crash-Safe Persistence & Min-Player Rollover:
  • Every ticket purchase and the remaining draw timer are saved to round.json. If the server restarts — or if fewer than the minimum required players entered when the timer ends — every ticket and coin rolls over safely.
• Live HUD, Hologram & Board Integration:
  • Shows a live countdown next to the money counter and on /board, plus provides {lottery_pot}, {lottery_tickets}, {lottery_player_tickets}, and {lottery_time_left} placeholders for Tempest Holograms.
