Schematic Blueprints brings the Litematica way of building to Hytale. Pick a prefab, from the game, from a prefab pack the server runs, from CurseForge or from your own saves, and it appears as a see-through hologram. Walk it to the perfect spot, turn and mirror it, lock it in, and build it block by block in survival, with the hologram showing what goes where and the mod telling you what you still need.
The Schematic Wand
One tool runs the whole thing. Craft it at a Workbench from two sticks and a fibre, or type /sb wand give. While you hold it, a panel on the right shows what it is doing and what every click does, and chat tells you the next step as you go. The ability key steps through three modes, crouch + ability key opens the menu, and crouch + scroll is the adjust wheel.
| Select | Place | Build | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left click | Corner 1 | Pick up / drop the hologram | Printer on / off |
| Right click | Corner 2 | Turn it | Easy place on / off |
| Crouch + left | Clear | Lock / unlock | Preview: all, missing, outline |
| Crouch + right | Save, name it in chat | Mirror | Check what is left |
| Crouch + scroll | Grow / shrink the side you look at | Nudge one block | Layer up / down, past the ends back to all |
/sb wand away puts the wand away when you are done, /sb wand give brings it back.
Getting a schematic
- The game's prefabs: every prefab Hytale ships, searchable in the Schematics page with a 3D preview.
- Prefab packs: install one from the main menu's Mods browser under Prefabs and enable it for your world, or put it in a dedicated server's mods folder, and its prefabs show up as Mod.
- Your own builds: mark two corners with the wand, crouch + right click, type a name. Your saves are private to you; a server owner can drop prefabs for everyone into the shared folder.
- From CurseForge by Project ID:
/sb import <project id>with the Project ID from a prefab project's CurseForge page (About this project) downloads its newest file into your saves, and/sb import <project id> <file id>one file of it. A curseforge.com link that carries the numeric project id works too. Links to a CurseForge page with only the project's name do not, because the website shows servers a browser check, and the mod tells you to use the Project ID./sb import <url>takes a.prefab.jsonor a zip of prefabs from an allowed host. Importing the same file twice does not make a copy, the mod tells you where it already is. Importing needs thesb.importpermission, which operators have. - Cleaning up: the Schematics page has Delete for your own saves and imports (click it twice), or use
/sb delete <key>. The game's, a mod's and the server's prefabs stay.
Placing it
Pick the hologram up and it follows your look, sitting on whatever surface you aim at. Drop it, turn it, mirror it, nudge it a block at a time, snap it to the ground, undo any move, then lock it so nothing knocks it out of place. Only you see your holograms.
Building it
- Printer: places missing blocks around you from your own inventory, a couple at a time, with the right rotation and the block's build sound. It never takes what you do not carry, tells you in chat why it places nothing (the items you are missing, a block in the way, nothing to attach to) and why it stopped.
- Build overlay: while you hold the wand in Build mode or the printer runs, the build's cells around you get a cube. Blue means the block is missing and you can place it now. Red means the cell is still wrong and something stops it: another block in the way, someone standing there, no item for it, nothing to attach to, a no-build zone, or a block to clear from a spot that must stay empty. Correct cells get nothing, so what you see is what is left. The wand panel counts it:
Placed 34, 12 to place nearby, 5 blocked, mostly no Oak Planks. - Easy place: blocks you place inside the placement turn to the schematic's rotation, and wrong blocks are refused with a notice that names the block the build wants.
- Layers: build one layer at a time, the hologram shows only that layer.
- Material list: what the build needs, what you carry and what you still have to gather, as a page or a small HUD.
- Verifier: missing, wrong and extra blocks, nearest first, with markers in the world.
Doors, trapdoors, roof corners and other blocks a prefab stores in one of their states are built from their normal item: the plain door is accepted, turned to the schematic's facing, and counts as right open or closed.
Prefabs carry editor blocks, the pale blue "must be empty" cubes, anchors and spawners. Schematic Blueprints never asks you to build those: empty cells are checked to stay clear, the rest are ignored.
Skip and swap blocks
Don't have a block, or want another wood? Every row of the Materials page has Skip, which leaves that block type out (not built, counted or checked), and Swap to held, which builds it as the block in your hand, everywhere: hologram, printer, easy place, material list, verifier and overlay. The rules show under the list with an undo button. In chat: /sb skip <block> and /sb swap <block> <new block>, for example /sb swap Wood_Oak_Planks Wood_Spruce_Planks, with off, list and clear. Rules belong to a placement, work while it is locked and are saved with it.
Hide and stash
/sb hide (or Hide all in the menu) hides holograms where they are, with no outline, overlay or printer, and /sb show brings them back. /sb stash takes a placement out of the world into your stash with its spot, turn, layers, lock and rules, /sb restore <name> puts it back where it was or here at your feet. Up to 50 per player, listed on the Placements page with Restore, Here and Delete.
Operators also get /sb paste and /sb undo for instant creative pastes.

Limits
Needs server 0.7.2 or newer and Java 25. Schematic Blueprints has a large test suite and boots clean on a headless server, and the wand, its modes and the crouch + scroll wheel have been used in a client. The printer, the build overlay, easy place and the verifier have seen less play. Blocks in a state (an open door, a grown crop) are built as their base block, and any state counts as right. The printer has no claim plugin hook yet; it respects worlds and zones that forbid building. Raw keyboard keys such as the numpad never reach a server mod, so the wand uses clicks, crouch, the ability key and the scroll wheel. Tell me on Discord if something misbehaves.
