BetterGravestone-1.5.jar
What's new
Update 1.5
Fixed
- Gravestone no longer replaces the block you died on — chests, stairs and other furniture survive. New search: death cell, then up, then one below, then outward.
- Every death was deleting a random block in a far-away chunk and force-loading it (block coords were passed to a chunk-coord function).
- Graves could be destroyed with all items inside when the block under them was mined or missing. Support requirement removed from the block.
- Items no longer vanish when placement fails — they drop on the ground instead.
- Graves are never left standing empty; if filling fails the block is removed and items drop.
- Graves landed one block off at negative X/Z coordinates.
- Looting a grave twice in the same tick could hand out items twice.
- Copying a gravestone shared its item map with the original (duplication).
- Config files missing newer keys crashed on open/break instead of using defaults.
- Config was read before it finished loading and could overwrite your file with defaults.
- Opening an old or damaged grave threw instead of returning the items.
- Empty leftover stacks were spawning as ghost item entities.
- Single-colour
<gradient:...>tags crashed message parsing.
Added
GraveSearchVerticalRange(3),GraveSearchHorizontalRange(3),GraveReplaceSoftBlocks(false),GraveFallbackDropItems(true).- Graves now face the direction the player was looking.
Changed
- Config version is now
1.1; files at1.0or with no version upgrade automatically. - "Not the owner" message reworded — it now says when the items rot, not that you can break the grave later.
- Errors log at severe with stack traces instead of info.
- Removed the plugin's background scheduler thread.
hytaleServerDirgradle property replaces the hardcoded install path.
