Averion Loot

Instanced loot for mob kills. When a mob dies, its drops are collected into a corpse instead of scattering loose on the ground — only the player who dealt the most damage can open it at first, with a fair, timed hand-off to everyone else afterward.

AverionLoot

Instanced loot for mob kills. When a mob dies, its drops are collected into a corpse instead of scattering loose on the ground — only the player who dealt the most damage can open it at first, with a fair, timed hand-off to everyone else afterward.

Instanced Corpses

  • On death, a mob's full drop table is bound to a corpse entity instead of spawning as loose item entities.
  • Ownership goes to whoever dealt the most damage to that mob, tracked automatically — no commands needed.
  • Two-phase access:
    • Owner window (120s) — only the owner can loot the corpse.
    • Public window (60s) — after the owner window expires, any nearby player can take whatever remains.
    • After both windows pass, the corpse and any unclaimed items are cleaned up.
  • Optional player-death corpses — turn player deaths into lootable corpses too, with their own, longer owner window (300s) so the victim has real time to recover their items first.
  • A configurable loot-detection range (default 30 blocks) controls how far away players are allowed to interact with a corpse.

Rarity Beams

Each corpse projects a colored beam sized/colored to the rarity of its best contained item — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary — so players can tell at a glance whether a kill is worth walking over to. During the owner window the beam is visible only to the owner; once the corpse goes public, everyone nearby can see it.

Party Rolling

A built-in Need / Greed / Pass system for group members contesting loot:

  • Triggers automatically for items at or above a configurable rarity threshold (default Uncommon) — common trash never interrupts the group.
  • Each party member gets a window to choose Need, Greed, or Pass; the system resolves the winner and hands the item over.
  • Can be disabled entirely if a server prefers pure finders-keepers looting.

Admin Panel

Managed in-game, no file editing:

  • Mob blacklist — exclude specific mob types from instancing entirely (they drop normally instead).
  • Roll system toggle — turn party Need/Greed/Pass on or off server-wide.
  • Loot range — adjust how close a player needs to be to interact with a corpse.
  • Debug logging toggle for troubleshooting.

Other

Full multi-language support for all player-facing messages and UI.

Free vs. Pro

Pro is available to supporters through the AverionMods Patreon.

Feature Free Pro
Instanced corpses, two-phase access, rarity beams, party rolling, blacklist Included Included

Loot Beams Common / Uncommon Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary
Group System with Roll System - Needs PartyPro* No Yes

The core loot-fairness system — instancing, phased access, rarity beams, party rolling — is functionally identical between versions. Pro exists for admins who want to tune the timing to their server's pace.
