Zonewise

# Zonewise

**Know where you're going before you get there.**

Zonewise adds the information you actually want to WoW: Forever's world map. Hover any zone and you'll instantly see whether it's right for your character, what you can gather there, and which dungeons and raids it holds. Everything is coloured for *your* level and *your* skills.

As of 1.3.0, Zonewise uses WoW's own default UI, so it looks like it was always part of the game. It's tiny too: about 35 KB.

## On the world map

Hover a zone to see:

- **Zone level range**, coloured just like quest difficulty: red, orange, yellow, green or grey for your level
- **Herbalism, Mining and Skinning** ranges, coloured by your skill-up chance
- **Hold Shift** to list every herb and ore node in the zone with the skill it needs
- **Dungeons and raids** with their level ranges, with WoW: Forever's new instances marked **(New)**
- **Territory**: Alliance, Horde or Contested

Prefer a tidy map? Turn on "Only show while holding Alt" and the tooltip only appears when you want it.

## Zone toast

When you enter a new zone, a short note appears under the game's zone name showing its level range, coloured for you. Choose **Compact** for just the essentials, or **Detailed** to add gathering ranges and dungeons.

- **Move it** anywhere on screen and **resize** it, or keep the default spot
- **No spam**: zones you've just visited won't pop up again when you cross back and forth over a border
- **Don't want it?** Turn it off with one click

## Settings

Everything can be switched on or off in **Options > AddOns > Zonewise**: which professions to show, what the tooltip includes, and how the toast behaves. Changes apply instantly.
