MinimapStack
A slim, edge-pinned drawer that collects every minimap addon icon into one clean tab — hover to reveal, move away to hide.
The Problem It Solves
Running a lot of addons means your minimap slowly disappears behind a ring of overlapping icons, some becoming hard to click and cluttering something you glance at constantly. MinimapStack pulls every addon icon off the minimap and relocates them into a single, unobtrusive control that only shows up when you want it.
Features
Automatic icon collection. On login, MinimapStack scans the minimap in several passes over the first 20 seconds (since some addons create their icon late) and pulls in any addon buttons it finds. You log in, wait a moment, and the minimap is clear — nothing left behind.
Blizzard UI stays untouched. The LFG eye, mail icon, tracking button, calendar, zoom controls, and other default Blizzard elements are filtered out and left alone. Only third-party addon icons get collected, so core game UI keeps working exactly as normal.
Edge-pinned, not floating. Instead of another window on your screen, MinimapStack lives as a slim tab flush against the left, right, or top edge of the screen — wherever fits best around your existing UI. It's small by design (16x56px vertical, or 56x16px horizontal) so it stays out of the way.
Hover to reveal. Moving your mouse over the tab slides the drawer out with a smooth animation, showing all your icons at full size and fully clickable (left-click, right-click, drag all work as normal). Move away and it slides back after a short 0.3s delay, so you don't lose it from a slight mouse slip. It also stays open while a right-click dropdown menu is up.
Smart expansion. The drawer always opens into open screen space based on which edge it's pinned to — leftward from the right edge, rightward from the left edge, downward from the top edge — so it never opens into a spot you didn't expect.
Configurable layout. /mms rows N lets you wrap icons into multiple rows instead of one long strip if you collect a lot of them.
Adjustable size and transparency. Tab thickness, tab length, and drawer transparency are all adjustable via slash command, so you can tune how prominent or subtle it looks against your UI.
Saves your setup. Position, edge, size, transparency, and row count are all remembered between sessions.
Lock and rescan. /mms lock prevents accidental dragging once you've placed it. /mms scan forces an immediate re-check for new icons without needing a reload.
