ZoidsTools is a modular quality-of-life toolkit for World of Warcraft Retail. It combines practical interface improvements, combat tools, character information, automation, and group utilities in one configurable addon with a polished, searchable settings window.

Features

Damage Meters

• Lightweight custom meters powered by Blizzard’s built-in combat data.
• Track Damage Done, DPS, Damage Taken, Avoidable Damage, Healing, HPS, Absorbs, Interrupts, Dispels, Deaths, and more.
• View the current fight, overall data, or recent combat segments.
• Click entries for detailed ability breakdowns.
• Use two independently configured, movable, resizable meter windows.
• Snap meters together on any side with automatic width or height matching.
• Customize text size, background opacity, spacing, and class-colored borders.
• Save and apply named layouts for both ZoidsTools and Blizzard damage-meter windows.

Talents, Stats, Items, and Tooltips

• Adds talent recommendations directly to Blizzard’s talent window.
• Supports Mythic+, dungeon-specific, raid, and PvP builds from sources such as Archon, Icy Veins, Wowhead, and Murlok.io when available.
• Highlights current, new, and changed talents and provides build-application helpers.
• Shows item level, gems, enchants, missing enchants, bind type, and recommended stat comparisons.
• Supports the character window, bags, bank, reagent bank, and Warband bank.
• Adds a collapsible Stat Goals panel beside the character window.
• Enhances player tooltips with optional class-colored names, Mythic+ rating, and equipped item level.

Mythic+, Queues, and Lockouts

• Displays a compact Mythic+ invitation banner with the invited dungeon.
• Provides one-click dungeon teleporting when the corresponding portal is known.
• Adds a collapsible lockout panel beside the Dungeons & Raids window.
• Shows current-expansion Mythic dungeon and raid saves, boss progress, and reset times, with legacy lockouts collapsed below.
• Can automatically remove saved Mythic dungeons from Premade Group dungeon filters.
• Adds background queue sounds, ready-check countdowns, and an optional safe queue mode that hides Decline without automatically accepting.

Combat, Unit Frames, and Macros

• Customize action-bar keybind text, font, size, color, shortening, boldness, and outlines.
• Cast action-bar abilities on key press instead of key release.
• Apply optional full-button out-of-range tinting.
• Display movable combat notifications and missing group-buff warnings.
• Apply class-colored health fills to player, target, target-of-target, and focus frames.
• Resize player, target, and focus castbars and control their buff and debuff visibility.
• Automatically maintain health and mana macros using Recuperate, food, Healthstones, and appropriate potions.
• Create a customizable random Hearthstone macro using selected owned appearances.

Chat

• Copy and search chat messages from the active chat window.
• Turn web and Discord addresses into copyable links.
• Add faster scrolling, jump-to-latest controls, name highlights, and mention sounds.
• Customize chat backgrounds, opacity, mouseover visibility, fonts, outlines, fading, and message duration.
• Save recent chat history between sessions and optionally restore it at login.
• Customize the typing box position, font, size, channel label, and sent-message history controls.

Smart Mounts and Profession Actions

• Select appropriate flying, ground, aquatic, class, race, and travel-form options.
• Avoid recently summoned mounts and keep service mounts out of normal random selections.
• Provide dedicated repair, auction-house, and passenger mount actions.
• Match another player’s mount when you own it.
• Include configurable class and race travel utilities.
• Add modifier-click actions for disenchanting, milling, prospecting, lockpicking, skeleton keys, and compatible racial abilities.

Loot, Vendors, Quests, and Automation

• Provides fast auto-looting with an optional careful second pass.
• Automatically sells junk, optionally including bind-on-equip grey items.
• Supports personal or guild repairs and marks already-known merchant items.
• Automates quest acceptance, turn-in, and simple gossip interactions.
• Includes filters for daily, weekly, recurring, Calling, and Warband-completed quests.
• Adds a movable, key-bindable smart quest-item button that appears when a relevant tracked quest is nearby.
• Adds taint-safe objective-tracker backgrounds, borders, class colors, fitted height, mouseover controls, and compact minimization.
• Skips cinematic confirmations with Escape or automatically skips cinematics and movies.
• Provides opt-in confirmation for selected binding, disenchanting, enchanting, socketing, purchasing, deletion, and trade-timer prompts.

Blizzard Interface Improvements

• Move and scale supported Blizzard windows, including bags, banks, and other containers.
• Save window positions and scales between sessions.
• Use a square minimap with a compact title and clock.
• Fade, hide, resize, or collect minimap addon buttons.
• Display movable FPS, latency, and coordinate widgets, plus player and cursor coordinates on the world map.
• Replace the large Talking Head window with movable, click-through subtitles.
• Customize Talking Head font size, opacity, bold text, background visibility, and display priority.
• Right-click Talking Head subtitles to dismiss the current dialogue.
• Keep WoW synchronized with the Windows default audio device.
• Search across ZoidsTools settings and jump directly to matching options.

Diagnostics

• Includes built-in performance diagnostics for tracking frame hitches and addon activity.
• Provides additional troubleshooting tools for talents and Blizzard chat interactions.
